Hello gjsmsith,

I can try renaming your files but I'm a noob when it comes to all this...can you explain how i can rename your files??? We know the US version folder is different so just let me know and I'll play around with it. Thanks!

I have done all this; in dashboard it seems that the files are succesfully in my hard drive even with my live user name; but still when I run PES 2008 nothing happens.

What could I do?

An update on using gjsmsmith's files on NTSC / US copy of the game:

I just tried using gjsmsmith's files "as is", simply put into the US folder on my hard drive, and they did not work. I received a "save data is corrupt" error when loading them from the edit menu. I did not rename them because it appears the naming convention is the same across both versions of this game.

Can anybody think of anything else?

If not we may be in the same position we were with every NTSC version of the game.... waiting for one of us to create from scratch!

On previous versions of PES/WE (original xbox) there was always a pes fan editor created by a guy name "compulsion"

There is a new version of it, however its for PS2 only.

It would convert versions from PES to Winning Eleven and we never had to wait for option files, just convert them

If only that worked for xbox.

I'll just be patient and wait on something else.

There no "USB Mass Storage Device" in my pc; could there be in thre with an alternative name?

There are only this options:
Generic USB Hub
USB Root Hub
Intel (R) 828...........

Regarding the uniforms since no one has uploaded the option file for the US version; I was going to try to edit the teams by myself; but when I got to the edit mode for Tshirt there an option which is Scan; SURPRISE; I found in here all the information of the option file.

After all it seems the option file works; it;s not automatic but you only have to waste about 5 min to select the logos for each team.

What exactly did you do?????? Do you have the US version? Are you saying that gjsmsith's OF works?

Well, probably the edit files aren't compatible, but, seems that the vision camera files are the same, interesting, gonna try this myself see what happens.

(ps. for US- u wanna make custom kit colours to match in with the scan colours... basically add the phot and then go to kit design and create your own colour that blends with the scans perfectly)

Exactly this is what I did and it work perfectly. Regarding the names and transfers I think they don't work; but for me it's enough been able to play with the scan kits for the english teams.

OMG Are you serious? this is all I need. I can update stats and transfers on my own, Kits are hard.

One more thing. The Emblem, you know when you select your club? Is that modified too? or is it that S^*(*( emblem?

:) only the 8 scan kits will be available mate.... to have emblems and all that you need a patched ISO and a chipped xbox because those options arent available for editing 'in game'... all i can put in an option file are the things that can be done on your xbox.
