Thought I'd start this thread as I'm returning to Master League after about an 8 year absence in favour of FIFA's Career Mode and thought a thread for good buys would be helpful.
So far I've done about half a season with Man City (keeping the original squad) and have found all my buys making an impact.
Renato Sanches was my first buy. In a few false starts in ML his asking price had been around £34m but in the season that I got off the ground they strangely only asked for £17m. So he's usually very expensive, but after every match I'd get notifications about multiple stats of his improving. He's already an absolute beast of a CM and highly recommended.
Virgil Van Dijk was my second signing. Tall, good in a tackle and excellent on the ball. Fits the Man City team at the moment and slotted in seamlessly. Again he was pricey though, coming in at about £25m.
Riechedly Bazoer was my third signing. If I remember correctly he was about £15m. He's a solid all round midfielder, not as good as Sanches, but cheaper, so maybe pick between the two based on your budget.
Jordan Lukaku was my final signing. I had hardly any money left despite selling numerous players but needed cover for Kolarov at LB and have had experience with Lukaku Jr in FIFA 16. His attacking stats are better than his defensive ones but that seems par for the course these days. At £5m he's an absolute steal!
Let me know what your best ML buys are!
