But in the PES6 ML, if you were to sign Messi after Barca released him; you'll find that his development curve will be exactly the same as when you first started your ML game.

That is unrealistic in my opinion. :angry:

Even if Messi did go through a bad patch in his career and Barca ended up releasing him, then his development curve should reflect that and his potential ability worse than it was at the beginning of his career. But it doesn't work like that in the ML for some reason. :no:

Top players can sometimes see out their contract and become free agents.

The more surprising thing is that top clubs didnt climb over themselves to get him.

I didnt bother bidding for him at first as I assumed he would be snapped up. But when no one came in I offered him a bumper pay packet (just under 1400). You can get very good players to join your team if the money is right. Even with a low ranking and still in div2.

i would reccomend wilmhelmsson, ribery, maxi rodrigues is a v.good player after the first season .. can play both sides and is brilliant in the middle as a creative mid. The best person i have found though for an out and out winger of good quality and for cheapest value has to be .. Tranquillo Barnetta, he has no club but plays internationally for switzerland .. great buy, great player. However with this one u have to wait till he develops .. give him a season and trust me u will be happy.

Yeah I noticed Barnetta. I can't understand why he turns so good in the PES6 ML.

I mean, no one had even heard of him prior to the World Cup. But like the Swiss national team, he didn't exactly have a good World Cup though.

I bought Park Ji-Sung in 2006 and I'm doing an ML with Barcelona. It's 2008 now and so far this season Park has been player of the season for me (I play him Right Mid [Left Mid now cos Ronaldinho is Injured).

I play the ML but I've set it so that my players don't develop. I would recommend Wilhemsson...very pacey and skillful, Babel and Bilos. Barnetta's pretty good too, I thought he done well at the WC he was one of the candidates for Young players award I think.

Theo Walcott. His top speed and acceleration of 80 something is atrocious. They should be way in the 90's which is what I did before I started my season.
