In the past they've replaced old ML players with younger equivalents. I don't know if you're old enough to remember the old players, but for example:

Nachtegal became Gerson
Djulic (sp?) became Jaric
Bolata/Barota became Gutierrez

Can't remember the others off the top of my head, but of course there's also been slight name changes, eg Huygens -> Huylens, Castilla -> Castolo etc.

But Jaric is now Jacomorac and Gerson is Gellazca. Am I missing something? or are those the names of agents now?

I have Bakkali. He's at 82 OR at 22yrs.... still waiting for his chance to shine though! I also have Talisca, who's 88 OR at 24 years. :)

A world class player keeping Bakkali out the team no doubt

Wow Talisca at 88 OR and still developing!! I'll be getting him in the next transfer window for sure, thanks for the heads up.

I got Lacazette for Inter a while back and within 2 seasons he'd risen to 89 OR at 24yrs old and still developing..! One of the best attackers in the game in my experience.

Can I ask what season you are in? 5th?

Bakkali, Mastour, Meyer, Munir, etc, all those very young and promising playmakers end up world class in the game. And I'm leaving Quintero out 'cause he's older than these ones.

Be sure to buy Talisca only if you intent to play him in the middle, SS or AMF.

Quintero is a beast isn't he! One of my first signings for Valencia, play him AMF behind Lewandowski. 1st game I played he took on half the team and scored a 30 yard screamer from kick off  (who is this kid)

I went for Leon Goretzka over Meyer but i might have to consider him as well. Thanks for the other names, i'll add them to my short list.

Juan Quintero was the hidden gem Porto bought to lapish in a diamond at least as shiny as James. But he is quite dumb, no brains whatsoever to match the incredible talent he has, so he is yet to prove his potential. He has a very, very powerful shot from distance, low, near the grass, and quite precise. Excellent in freekicks. Very short, but strong, like a thinner Shaqiri.

I had him until my third season. He just flipped, or maybe it was me? All of a sudden I couldn't do anything good with him, so I let him go. Gave more space for Mastour, who is developing at a much slower but more consistent pace.

Goretzka his a running fortress. Incredibly tall, strong, fast (slow acceleration though) and one of the best technique there is. A bit underrated in Stamina and immensely underrated regarding Shot Power. Great passing and positioning. A true engine for any team. On the other hand Meyer is more a delicate, classy, Mastour-style of player. One shouldn't replace the other, but play together in the midfield.

Great post thanks for the insight!

Never understood why James left porto for Monaco, especially when United were after him at the time...money talks i suppose but the French League wasn't a challenge at all for him.

Shaqiri is another player on the game who doesn't reach is full potential. Should be ranked a lot higher for me.

A fantastic buy for me has been Memphis Depay. He can play all over the top even though he is listed as a LWF, but has little drop at each of the other positions. Give him a try, especially with Talisca.

I love Jack Wilshire in the midfield. He can turn on a dime, tracks back, and is even decent at disposing opponents.

AMF of choice at this point is James Rodriguez. I know he is costly, but he makes great runs into the box on his own as well as tracks back. His stamina isn't great, but he is worth it. Another AMF I'm trying out right now is Erikson. He seems to be doing quite well. Might be worth a go for y'all.

I've had him too, but never tamed him enough to be a valuable part of the team. And I activated the realize clause in his contract, only to found what it was when Atletico Madrid took him from me.

That guy is amazing, super fast on and off the ball, leaves Sterling eating dust. Very powerful shot, very good Balance and Ball Retention... a real star.

Yeah, 5th season. And Talisca isn't keeping Bakkali out of the side.... Villalba is!

As for other players - rebelinho already mention Meyer and Mastour. If you want a good striker, how about Zivkovic from Ajax? South America also has some good cheap young players. There's a chap called Soteldo (or something), and this season I've signed someone called J. Flores, who is about 80 rated at 21, so he's a good backup for me. Kinda reminds me of Javi Hernandez in a way.

Does anyone else have a RB named M. AMINI, from Cameroon, in the game? This lad is the best RB in my game at the age of 22 (2018/2019), but he doesn't exist in pesdb, nor I can find any info about him. I thought he might be Mustafa Amini from Dortmund with a different nationality, but the positions don't match and he's too old.

One player that I haven't mentioned is Origi. Big, quick, powerful. I actually sent him on loan the past season, but now he's back and better than ever.

I have a question: At ex-Pes games Master League (Pes 2011~Pes 2014), in reset Young team day, sometimes appear a good player who will be compared with certain super star (etc: "this player remind of S.Ramos/Messi/Buffon...). So does it still exist in Pes 2015 ML?

I am almost through the 2019-20 season in the master league, I have not seen such a thing yet. I think they might have skipped it. Did you see this in PES 2014? I only remember this being in 12 and 13..

A few thoughts on players that I’ve picked up during my four-season Wolves career. I don’t mention superstars, as I’ve been working on a tight (often non-existent) budget, though there will be familiar names here.

K. Rekik, CB: Recent acquisition, and probably my big-money signing. Very strong, respectably agile, seems to play above his current 80 rating at age 22. Wish I’d picked him up earlier: I was playing Superstar with a high-speed, low-strength CB pairing until Rekik joined, and he’s an absolute revelation. No more sub-70 strength centre-backs for me!

J. Flanagan, LB/RB: Picked him up on a free, second season. Currently 81 as a LB, drops to 77 or so as a RB (where I play him). Respectable starting full-back with all-round ability (or an excellent backup), and a great signing if you pick him on a Bosman.

L. Shaw, LB: Second or third season, Man Utd have twice let his contract run down in the Master League careers I’ve had so far. His wage demands are over a million, but he’s worth the investment. Currently 82 at 22, 87 SPD.

I. Mbaye, LB: Inter let this guy go within three seasons, and his salary demands are negligible. 76 at 22, makes a good understudy to a main LB. He’s also 187cm, which makes him useful in matches against teams that play long balls to the wing.

A.Rabiot, DMF: Currently 81 at 22, he’s a cultured specialist holding midfielder. Much less effective if you only have CMF berths available in your formation (drops to a 77). Has a bullet of a shot from range, and his lack of pace (53 currently) rarely seems a problem – in fact, in encourages me to stroke the ball around more in midfield, which is never a bad thing. Usually available on a free from around the end of season 2, but you’ll need to pay him wages of just over 2m.

Y.Tielemans, CMF: Most players know about this guy, but he’s still worth another mention. 81 at 20, fleet-footed with great close control. Can be acquired for less than a million during the first season, which makes him a natural go-to if you’re looking for a creative midfielder with high growth potential. Brilliant forward runs. Big drawback: he has lousy stamina, and is usually knackered after 60 minutes on anything less than a red arrow. I wouldn’t even put him on the bench with a blue arrow: he’d get exhausted just *watching* the match.

W. Hughes, CMF: I rotate this guy with Tielemans. Will set you back anything up to 5m, but he’s really starting to blossom at 22 (80 OPR, but due for another boost soon, I’d say). His “Hole Player” playing style often moves him into advanced positions, and he’s developed a cracking left-foot shot over the past season for me – three from 25m+ in my last six games.

Forster-Caskey, CMF: Bit of a wild card. You can pick him up for next to nothing, pay him peanuts, and use him as a reserve CMF to flesh out your squad. He has an unusual development style for a CMF: he’s only 73 at 23 in my game, but has 71 SPD and 73 PHY, which makes him excellent as a late sub to close out games when I’m resting established stars. I’m curious as to how far he might develop if used as a constant starter for a small team; I’ve only used him sparingly.

A. Halilovic, AMF: Another well-known name, I’m sure. 82 at 21, with phenomenal close control and electric pace. Can be picked up for a million or less in the first transfer window. Has been my principal AMF playmaker for all four seasons, and never disappoints… for the first sixty or seventy minutes. Stamina (red arrow matches aside) is his primary weakness, though he’s actually not terrible when exhausted. He’s also quite versatile, and can fill in on either wing when needed.

Bruma, LWF: Can play anywhere along attacking wing positions. I really wasn’t sure about him at first. He’s very fast, young and affordable, but has lousy stamina. I would go as far as to say that, unless he’s on a red arrow, he’s simply not a starter. But as an impact sub… wow, I’m really starting to appreciate his value. Bring him on after 60+ minutes, when defenders are tiring, and they just can’t catch him. Rated 80 at 22 in my current game (and 99 SPD), he seems to have hit an attribute sweet spot where he’s playing above his raw stats. He has 8 goals in 14 appearances this season, all as a sub, and has – I swear – created these chances himself with incisive runs that positively *demand* an immediate through-ball. He works best on the left, where he can cut inside to shoot with his dominant right foot.

J. Iturbe, RWF: Possibly the best bargain free transfer in the game. Available from the second season, he recently capped at 85 OPR in my current game. Makes chances, finishes chances, is much more than your standard speed demon.

Some good players here, some familiar to me and others I will scout out.
Rekik, CB is a beast for me. One of the 1st players I signed in my Valencia ML. I'm in my 2nd season now and he's up to 81 OR, very commanding, great physical presence and excellent at winning the ball...future captain??
