Got a spare DeLorean going if anyone wants it. I've somehow ended up with two of the fuckers.

Anyone fancy going for a spin anytime soon?

I know with Madden and the Fantasy League this has fallen off the radar, but I'd be keen to get racing again, whatever the format.

Yeah I've got tons of time off, so everyone post what days/times are good for you and we'll come up with something.

I'm up for a go, will have to check when the missus is out, she is too much of a distraction...

I reckon I can sneak in a few post-work, pre-football laps.

I also have a week off work coming up where I will be doing very little in the evenings, so am going to be generally available.

Edit: What are people's thoughts on racing a few track creator circuits?

Didn't realise you could make track's in GT5.
As long as it's a good track I don't see the problem.

Yeah, the track maker is actually pretty good - takes a bit of playing around to get race-able results, but I've made a few decent ones on it.

You don't actually build it piece-by-piece - you input variables such as road width, number of sections, complexity etc and then it lays down a circuit over the top of the terrain.

I'll see what I can come up with after work and we'll go from there.

Since there seems to be an active GT5 community on this forum, I will probably pick up GT5 again in the next few days.

I'm putting it on now for a bit to shake the cobwebs off.

Get a job.

Definitely do that. I always felt like we were about 2-3 members short of making it something that would stick as a regular racing group.

Just go in blind on a brand new one, and see what everyone makes of it.

That is a very apt description of some of the Mount Aso concoctions.

The terrain it plonks the circuit on is very hilly, meaning you can quite easily get right-angle-and-sharper jumps and blind corners galore. Whilst they might be carnage and fun to watch the first lap, they soon get tedious when they prove unraceable.

I'll ensure I put together a selection of tracks with minimal testing (just a quick cruise to ensure no 'stupid' sections) that we can race on fairly.

I do just not a 9-5 one.

Hopefully we can get some super cars rocking what you don't have to own to use online.

Still think you must've 'fluked' that corkscrew.

How you pulled a full second on me in just that turn beggars belief. There were 3-4 laps where I took it perfectly and still lost that time.

Perhaps you don't remember, but did you enter it too quickly and then somehow manage to just whip your car through it and compensate the oversteer/drift on the exit?
