Graphical Comparisons for PES6 (Xbox 360 v PS2)

Personally i think evo is one of the few games where ps3 will be better than 360, the pictures of the car in the street don't look any different from a 360 game of the same type. only reason evo doesn't look amazingly better on 360 than ps2 is cos konami couldn't be arsed to make it too much better cos the ps3 isn't out for another couple of months. i guarantee that if evo had been released on both ps3 and 360 at same time there'd be virtually no difference and that they'd both look amazin but however with ps3 delayed konami aren't prepared to go all out and make jus the 360 next gen look good cos they don't care bout 360's. They virtually don't sell at all in japan so they'd rather not bother with it and concentrate more on gettin they ps3 version better since its sony. I've never seen this really happen before where a games manufacturer who is releasin on nearly all consoles clearly shows that they prefer one console to the next purely because of it's nationality and popularity in its own country (as u can probably tell i'm pretty pissed off about this! lol)
i jus hope that when konami release evo for the ps3 they also release this new version for the 360 as i have no doubt it will be a proper next gen this time

If Konami put some effort in then the graphics will become more sophisticated. Just look at the visuals for FIFA 07 on the 360 - they are stunning.
To be honest this thread doesn't make a great case for the graphical step-up from the PS2 to the 360. Seabass has admitted that the 360 player models are just those form PS2 with a few extra animations thrown in. Not sufficiently next-gen in my opinion.

I think this second pic showing PS3 graphics looks amazing, Look at how realistic the road and the car look.
The game at the bottom is called 2 Days to Vegas and actually it comes out on the 360 and that screenshot is CGI, not an in-game shot.

I was always planning to buy a PS3 eventually - when they came down in price - as I expected the graphics to be so much better than the 360 due to the PS3 coming out so much later than the 360 (in the same way I bought an Xbox for its graphical superiority to my PS2). But forget the TALK of whether the graphics will be better, take a LOOK at the screenshots of games coming out on both consoles instead, there is very little difference....

....and I'm left doubting whether I will buy a PS3 now. I agree about Konami not putting their full effort into the 360 graphics though, when you look at the recent shots of Adriano (http://www.playscope.com/medias/Jeux-Video/XB2/1/2/12863/Screens/0399.jpg) who is one of the players they have obviously spent time on and you see a massive difference compared to some of the other 'wax work dummy knockoff' players.
The only way the PS2 graphics could look better then the 360s is there lack of clarity compared to the 360 making the eye see wonderful things that aren't there! (like the whole Claptons lack of notes in songs sounding better than him playing notes in a song) :lol:

I don't want to piss on your bonfire but take a look here. If you look at the comparison for the GPU specs of both consoles, the Xbox 360 (yes, the 18month old machine) wins on most counts. Whilst this may not gaurantee better graphics on the 360, it does confirm that the PS3 will not have significantly better graphics.
This is of course subject to the talented coding and artistry of the game developers, but should they push both consoles to the max, in theory you will get better results on the 360.

u forget that sony has been virtually behind every other console from day one, i had both a ps1 and ps2 and the other consoles they were goin up against were all better when it came to specs. Sony has nearly always won in terms of sales because the japanese have always been so devoted to their own and game developers have always gone with the brand that looks to have a good rep globally so there's been more games available for it.
already sony has delayed their console cos their havin problems with it, this is hardly a good start and if i was waitin for one i'd be a bit nervous at glitches they won't have fixed. It'll also be the same as xbox 360 spec wise if not less, to base the reason why it'll be better than 360 purely because of pro evo is utter stupidity. Everyone knows pes6 isn't really next gen as konami are sony fan boys (not suprising since they're japanese and they've got heavy loyalty to them) and are waitin for ps3 till they make a next gen pes. if pes6 looks so crap on xbox 360 its not cos 360 isn't good enough its cos pes6 isn't good enough its not a next gen game and its bein released on a console that is. When ps3 comes out am i to play pes6 on it and slag the ps3 off cos pes6 looks shit on it? no, cos it's not a game that shows the next gen consoles ability
