[GTA IV] Would you give it a 10?

Hunter

BELIEVE
Hunter would you also class gta III as not fun?

I didn't play enough of GTA III to really form a fair opinion.

San Andreas on the other hand was such a blast. Definitely one of my all time favourite games.

I played GTA 3 to death. That game fucking rules. There's some mint mods for the PC too.
GTAIII redefined gaming for me. The freeform 3D environment that we kind of take for granted now was just so mindblowing when it first came out. It's still up there as one of my favourite games and still my favourite GTA.

Redefined is a word that gets used FAR too often in creative industries, but it really does apply to GTA III. It is one of the greatest videogames of all time. And I'm talking top five material.

GTA III was amazing but IV wasn't worth anything more than an 8.5 for me. It is good but certain things are so stale after Vice City and San Andreas. Plus, as was said earlier in the thread, they need to stop taking things out - gang territories for example.

I'm replaying gta III on my phone like a baus. A bit fucking awkward at times though.
The opening scene is stuff of legends.
''my hands are all messed up, so you better drive brother'' RIP Guru.
The random hilarity alone makes GTAIV at least an 8.

You played Saints Row Don?

SR 1&2 handled the territory thing pretty well and were really good fun. SR3 I find a bit too silly for my taste though.

A mix of SR2's fun factor and the polish of GTAIV would be a potent mix...

Saints row story line , physics , gunplay and general gameplay are just god awful and stops me wanting to keep playing it.
