Header glitch?

I am a CF. Whenever I'm in the opponents box and my teamate crosses the ball towards me and I press the shoot button, sometimes the ball just hits me and gets bounced off without me doing anything. Other times, my player touches the ball at least twice before he shoots even though i press the kick button right away after the cross to do a header.

Also, isn't the player suppose to move towards the ball automatically to where the ball is crossed? My player just stands there even though the ball is right near him, he doesn't move toward it for the header. It's so hard to do a header in BAL! Any comments?

i think ''shot technique'' stat affects that particular situation..not completely sure, though

my shot technique and shooting accuracy are over 90. my header is over 85 but my player still does not automatically move towards the crossed ball. Anyone else experience the same thing?

There is button lag thats why there is sometimes a delay in shooting. For headers i think you haft to move towards the ball for header or maybe have the automove function on and just hold down R1.

But what annoys me is my player sometimes runs towards balls that hes never going to get or its going out of play.

I agree with the original poster regarding the headers. In previous versions holding shoot would mean your player would move towards where the ball will be and try to get a header in. It seems like in PES 2010 you need to use the manual movement more to get in position.

Yes sometimes I have problems with this header glitch. I solved using super cancel to move towards the ball and pressing many times (3-4) the shoot button when the ball is near. Try it
