OK, so played a few games online. Reactions:

*Can you make it so that every ****** don't play as Barca or Real?

*Beat a few people as my favourite club, Swansea. Still annoys me that people don't go as various teams.

*How come you only get 10 points extra if you win, even if you've gone Swansea and they have gone Real? I beat someone as Spurs and still only got 10 points! Pathetic.

*Master League Online - umm?? How does it work? Do you just have to accept that you're gonna get hammered the first few hundred games? I've sold the awful players and bought some fairly average players. I'm being matched with teams 100 points higher than me and with Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo etc in their front line. There's only so much Ettori can do.

*Lost patience with it, as you can probably tell. Please help me otherwise I dont think I'll enter this mode again...

I play on -2 offline - MUCH MORE REALISTIC!

No wonder I cant stop all the idiots who:

to make it short, most of the answers to your questions are no - no way to slow it down, no way to avoid the Barca Madrids (unless you join a community that bars those teams).

Welcome to the work of PES online, sucks doesn't it. I played in a communtiy league for a while and that was fun but with 8-10 players it is hard to get everyone to finish out a season and it just fizzled, twice. I almost only play offline now - 2v2 online is a load of fun but I am jealous that FIFA can play 11 on 11.

why peoples bother with barca and madrid. they are not that good. many people play barca rely on messi and sanchez, just stop the ball before reach them. many people rely on ronaldo in madrid, just stop the ball before reach him also. and you can see their condition before match. if the color start red better be careful but if not, just play the game as usual and don't make to many mistakes

Cheers for the replies.

I've calmed down since the first post...I've now got rid of the majority of my original MLO team - mainly through playing them through D5 competitions and running down their contracts, getting money, releasing them, buying players.

I've got the usual MLO players - Negli, Barreto, Mphela, that dont cost much and are really good.

I'm looking forward to building my team now I have a strong first XI and a decent bench. Hopefully I'll start winning a few and go back up from my 450 rating. Haven't got hammered mind you - I've done fairly well so far, it was just frustrating at the start.

Message for all new MLO players - patience, stick with it.
