I'm migrating from Fifa and until now I think the game to be a lot more realistic. Yet, I have had some trouble dealing with defenders. First of all, I can't prevent a long ball to fast attackers from being fatal.
In Fifa, the CPU would begin to make the full backs run towards their own goal and when changing between players, the players we got to control now would keep momentum for a while, until we adjust position and the player we transferred to the cpu would keep running. In PES, I notice that whenever I change players, both seem to lose momentum and have to accelerate again. Against a fast forward, this is fatal.
Also, I have noticed that, sometime the full backs keep a distance from the opposing forward, which is completely free between both defenders, unpressed.
How do we deal with these long balls and with players changing without losing momentum?
