Hi, I've been having a great deal of trouble defending recently with this game. Specifically I've been confused on how exactly tackling is supposed to work.

With tackling I'm always being bundled off the ball physically by the opposing player, a constant situation is an attacking player cutting in from the wing into the centre and my defender(s) being utterly unable to stop him and getting pushed away.

I understand that you can't just wade in and I'm getting better at containing the opposition and waiting for them to make a mistake but eventually your going to have to make a tackle and right now the AI is just shrugging everything off.

So I was wondering if anyone had any tips on tackling or on defending in general in this game? or anyone having similar difficulties? thanks for the help in advance.

If u play normal, use fluid formation! The fluid formation is very helpful! Turn it on every time u play! And set up 3 points Kick Off, In Out Possession in the Main Offensive Default Tactic above the screen! Set them and customize them the way u want it! Ignore those two Custom and Defensive in Tactical Options! They not really necessary, until u pro and understand more with fluid formation!
Use fluid formation and Man marks every time u play, then ur team defensive will get better!
If u play myclub, there is no fluid formation! Just focus on Tactic and team spirit! Search it more on Google and YouTube!
