There's something I've been really annoyed with in PES, which is the complete randomness of form (the colored arrows in gameplan).

Secondly, it has never mattered whether you played a home game or an away game, which is really crappy since it's a big deal in football.

Now WHAT DID THEY DO? They have based the player form on whether you play a HOME game or an AWAY game!!!!

How cool is this? This hasn't always been the case has it? Am I the only one who's noticed this?

how sure are you about this?

i always play my friend in a league of games so we keep count and have an overall winner. he is always home and me away. if this is true would it mean that after each game we have to switch control pads?

or perhaps it doesnt work in exhibition games and ony competitions

To be honest I didn't notice that the arrows were changed, however there is for sure a difference in playing home and away in the CL in particular, very nice touch once again, there are loads of these little touches that I am beginning to notice the more I play the game, just little things like motions and deflections that I've never seen in PES before, I like it more and more every day it seems :)

I think, and have found upon investigation that the arrows relate to the "form" attribute within the players stats.... the higher the number the more likely they will be able to keep at a green arrow or above if they get a good match rating.

In Master league I have noticed that the away team, whether it is you or the AI, has much decreased form. I have seen this occur every match UNLESS you or they just won a cup match.

A bit strange in my opinion. The players with high ratings in the previous match seem less affected, or naturally those with a high form stat.

Do they only effect ur player's fatigue or do they also effeft ur player's stats/skills?

I used to buy the PiggyBack Entertainment guides (which were great, however they didn't release a guide for 2010, and haven't released one for 2011 as of yet either) and they explained the phenomenon.

Red arrow up: Depending on the statistic, a bonus of 7 to 11%
Yellow arrow up: Depending on the statistic, a bonus of 4 to 7%
Red arrow: Standard stats
Blue arrow down: Depending on the statistic, a penalty of 4 to 7%
Purple arrow down: Depending on the statistic, a penalty of 7 to 11%

For instance, the speed doesn't increase or decrease as much as shooting accuracy and technique, and heading skills.

If I remember correctly, stats such as mentality and stamina weren't influenced.

I am 100% sure home or away influences form in 2011, I've played about 40 games since I was notified by this fact by a friend.

It goes for competitions, I've seen it in CL and Leagues.
