So i took part in every Game in the Euros for England and Last Night went on to WIN!!!!

Loving it, just started 5th Season, (3rd with Bolton) But staying put until Arsene Wenger comes knocking on my Door!

Uh-oh, i am facing a slight dilemma, I am at the mid-way point in my second season and i am playing for Lazio (joined them in the summer from Deportivo La Coruna)
we are exeeding my expectations as we are 4 points clear at the top or the league (with Inter, milan and Roma just behind)
As the negotiations began i already had decided that i wanted to stay so that i could win the league with Lazio. But now in the last week of the negotiations i have recieved two shock offers, One from Roma and the other from Inter, both offering to double my wages as well as the opportunity to play for a great club.

Now i have already decided against a move to Roma, but the move to Inter is just calling for me! So what should i do, stay with Lazio where i have a large chance or winning some silverware, or move on to Inter which would be a dream move!?

Nah, on a more serious note, id stay and win the league. More than likely they will come back in for you in the summer.

Take the call up to Inter. Big teams play in Europe so that means more games for you to play in and you earn more experience. Only by playing in Europe can you will the player trophies such as european player of the year.

i got dropped after the transfer window by my club spurs, and didn't even make the A team in training but i stuck at it and earned my way back in to contention where i have hit a rich vein of form and have scored 12 goals in the last 10 games we have 5 games left to play and we are second behind chelsea by 2 points and we've still got to play them at home, could be tense stuff!! We stuffed arsenal 4-0 too!

I like most am not playing on Top player i'm playing the 4th level of difficulty.

Stay in Lazio, earn the captain arm band in a couple of seasons and lead them to european glory.

Become a club legend. ;)

My player is 24 now and his stamina sucks! When i was 21-23 it was fine. I stayed on for the whole match at had loads left. Now I'm 24 and my stamina has gone up to 84 and it goes down so quickly!

Hey guys,

This is one of my first posts on the forum (if not the first). I live in the States and have PES 2009 on the PC. I can't wait until it officially comes out so that I can start playing online. I usually check this forum for option files and topics, but have never been an active member. I'll try to change that.

Thought I'd give you my story. I'm on my third season on top player. I started out in Atalanta, then moved mid year to Fiorentina, won the European Championship, the D1? (can't remember the number) cup and league. At the end of the year I moved to Porto, mid year I transfered to AZ, won the D2? (number?) and league, as well as the European Masters (of which I was named most valuable player). At the end of the year was called up by the national team for the International Cup, won it with Italy and was named most valuable player. I was also named on the european team and world team. This third season I am still at AZ and I am top league scorer. Throughout my career I have scored 31 goals and have 6 assits. My average rating is above a 6.5 for both my club and national team. At the end of this year I would like to move to one of the big clubs: Manchester, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barca, or AC Milan. Milan would be cool, as I am a die hard fan, though they sold Kaka to Man Utd. Might as well aim for them, so that I can play with Ronaldo and Kaka!

Anyway, I have been reading about how dumb the AI is. It really depends on the team you play for, when I play with AZ, my defenders always clear the ball for a thrown in, when the other team is attacking on the sides. Though, when I play with Italy, defenders always try to play the ball to a man; also, playing with Totti and Pirlo is awesome cause they give you perfect passes.

getting the game soon- its in the mail!!

what happens if you put the transfer activity to a minimum- does that slow down the amount of teams that come in for you? or does it just stop the silly transfers that ive heard like Kaka to Bolton!!?

Finished my third season... Second half of the season was good, Inter signed me and it took a few games but I got into the first team and got 7 goals in 10 games (as a central midfielder/RWF as a sub)...
They didn't sign me though, sadly... I was having fun with the smooth passing.

I now have three or four decent choices: Roma, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Marseille. I'm leaning toward Arsenal, as that is my team, but they aren't doing too well... 7th in the league last season.
Perhaps I can pick them back up to the top? Liverpool's pretty tempting too.

I PLAY ON TOP PLAYER

Position: CF

08/09
Started at newcastle scored 7 goals, 1 assist league finish bit lower than mid table

09/10
Went to VALENCIA 2nd season but didnt get a look in with morientes, villa and another couple players, although i got in the A team.

So at xmas i moved to blackburn, made the team easy but failed to score as there are so crap and u dont get support.

Ended the season with NO GOALS

10/11
And happily i went BACK to Newcastle!! I got in the team after 2 weeks and that season i was 9th for top scorers. Below people like Villa, Rooney and Del Piero but above TORRES League finish 6th so next season i was in euro championship. 3 assists, 17 goals

11/12
Stayed at Newcastle. So far i have scored 3 goals (all in Champions Legue) and 2 assists.

i changed the league around so all the great teams were in it, only man city, blacburn and newcastle were extra crap.

All of my D1 cups i have been KOed in last 16, except 10/11 which was first round. In 11/12 haven't played in the cup as my team is seeded

No new positions or attributes

BAL progress is slowing as i have been playing Legends which is class

Best way of calling for passes?

Has anyone perfected this aspect of the BAL? Please share your tips....I have had some success calling for the ball when running down the flanks but I rarely get a quality pass through when I am running beyond my CF into lots of space...its so frustrating!

Top Player as a CF is very hard!
I'm having the same problems you did!

Although did anyone get injured?
I got injured for 2 weeks and when i cam back i was out of the first team (u get to play training games when ur injured)
I played 4 games to get back in and was left lingering on the bench getting 20 to 45 mins for the rest of the season although i was a starter!

Any got any tips on what to do when ur a first team starter and need to rest but ur manager never rests u?

Just press "Skip match" when you click on "To Next Match". Aslong as you son't skip too many in a row then you should get straight back into the first team. But be aware that some people haven't been given new contract's by there current club if they skipp too many matches, so if you're at a club you like it may be too risky to skip many matches. I do this myself, but usually only skip 1 or 2 matches either side of the january transfer window.
