alas, i missed out on promotion by 2 points, have to do d2 all over again, woulda been nice to get promoted my 1st season in d2, oh well, might have been relegated anywaze, cause i am not sure my players are ready for the top flight.

wroughllen is a beast he had top assist last season in the league... although minadi-something is way better... just have more faith in him... as wroughllen is left footed and i attack mostly from the right

Hi stiker

It is a pity that you were not promoted to D1, but you already did
extremely well for being at 4th place on ranking table(On Superstar LV)

For me, any rankings above 10th place will be dream like(Topplayer LV)
As long as we are resilient and do our best in every fixture, dont care
too much about losing, we should be fine and will get somewhere somehow, never give up hope and keep our heads up even in dilemma.
I will feel very much rewaded if one day can manage to be promoted
after the hardship I went through.

TBH, going invincible all the time in all matches is what I really want for
playing this game, but who can accomplish that without reloading or replaying (Topplayer or Superstar) in the world, I believe no one can do
that.

I am so delighted to see my year end budget balance is still positive. LOL

I will definitely have faith in Wroughllen, he s still very young.

Stiker, in your 2nd season ML, make sure you have a good look at the
Youth squad, there are some youngsters with potentials who are worth
signing.

Good luck to your season 2

hey bro, thanks for the encouraging words, yeah i have promoted most of the good guys in the youth team, only about 2 or so left... yeah i am sure we'll get promoted this year, just that it gets harder every year, the guys dat were relegated from the top flight are usually more difficult to beat than those there were topping D2, but no probs we'll try so by next year i can start BAL after winning the treble...

take care

I have 8 games left, and I'm currently 4pts clear of Liverpool, 5 of Man City. My last league game was a 4-0 win away at Stoke, just after overturning a 3-1 HT deficit to beat Hoffenheim 4-3 in the 1st leg of our Europa League last 16 tie.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are also in the competition, and won their first leg matches too.

I won't mind so much if I don't win the EL, but I definitely want to win the league, for the silver trophy.

Hi stiker

I am glad to encourage you to get promoted soon.

Yes, those spanish teams who are relegated to D2 are tough foes, only
got a home draw and a away win in 6 encounters with them in my 2nd
season.

Just done D2 2nd season, the result is as follows:

Position: 17th W: 4 D: 15 L: 15 Goals: 12 G conceded: 26

This is not looking good, not much improvements was made comparing to my performance in 1st season but I do concede less goals which is the positives.

My goalie and LMF Arrtman won D2 best 11 award...... LOL

Drawed way too many home games as I want to play it safe, sometimes
it seems COM can get the ball into the net no matter what......

What sabassto said in other posts is correct, changing formation and
tactics will affect game play style or even fixture's outcome, I am trying to work out the best tactics and formation against different rivals accordingly, but it is for me very difficult to apply them wisely.

Does anyone have good hints and tips in the respect of attacking and
scoring more goals, thanks in advance, if you guys want to keep it as
secrets, its fine, cause maybe you make hell lot of efforts to figure them out, its understandable that you dont want to give them away
easily.

Played 4 games in my ML 3rd season, draw 2, lost 2, win 0.

You take care too, Stiker.

Whoa, 4-0, my largest win margin is 2:0 in my past 2 seasons

TBH, I am not a big fan of Man Unt, but will surely play that team
in ML or EXHB matches one day if I can get through D2, LOL

Good luck to your English League.

So, 5 league games left, and I'm 8pts clear of both Liverpool and Man City. This means that three wins will be enough to secure the title.

I had a crazy match against Reading last night - I was 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 down before finally winning it 4-3. Awesome.

I still have to play Newcastle, Norwich, QPR, Swansea and one other. If I can get maximum points against the Geordies next, the league should be mine.

A 2-1 aggregate win over Arsenal in the Europa Quarters means Roma are up next in that competition. Liverpool are playing in the other semi, but I can't remember their opponents. They'll likely make the final anyway.

no don't change your formation on every match, you'd get confused. rather, stick with your fav formation and buy players accordingly to that formation.

i use flat 4-4-2 as it is my fav formation from like 10 years back lol. sometimes i use 4-3-1-2, depending on the PES control and gameplay (in some PES it's hard to win aerial battle, some other PES it's hard to do through pass etc). but i NEVER, play without fullbacks.

as for the how to score, i say just shoot the ball. i too sometimes feel like too afraid to shoot. something like "it's too far" or "bad position", "wrong footing" etc etc. and in a game where those feelings dominate my head, 99% i lost the match.

You are right, maybe I should down the difficulty level and practise more.

Well done, league champion should be yours, against Newcastle could be a toughie,
good luck.

The above is very true.

Hi interinter

Thank you so much for your warm-hearted reply and advice.

Actually I m using 4-3-2-1 as my FAV formation which is not that bad if play away games with defensive tactical assistance, I dont change formation in every game, will take your suggestions . I use 4-3-1-2 if being behind, it works sometimes.

Will shoot once my CF gets to the ball.

Good luck

Hi stiker

I just won a away game 0:1 with a spanish team who was relegated
to D2 positioned at 6 in D2, the team's name is sth like Celca...vido, I dont know any spaish, so cant remember the spelling. I scored a good goal next to P box, ha ha, really enjoyble, love that feeling, hope it could last for a long time.

Still struggle a lot near the table bottom trying to climb up over 10th
place to get more league ranking bonus money which will help me buy in
some good players from other teams.

Only got a few draws by using 4-3-3 which is you preference, maybe I suck too much....LOL.

I do have some good LETOUT games on Beginner LV in EXBH match mode, like it when the ball is in the net.

good luck and take care

Hi interinter

I used your prefered 4-4-2 formation, but it does not work well for me.
lost 1 home game and 2 away games with it, but I did score a nice goal.

You must be a very good PES gamer by viewing your D2 result in previous post. Hope I can be as good as you someday...LOL

good luck

hi optimistic,

flat 4-4-2 (with wingers, not all 4 cmf) is not a very offensive formation, maybe you should stick with diamond 4-4-2 instead, having a good amf that can break through your opponent's defense (callisto is a good choice)

nah i'm not that good, i played on professional level only :D
if my team is good i'll switch to top player.
i strongly advise you to tone down the difficulty level. playing on top level with little exp (as the gameplay is bit different from 2012) and weak team will not improve your skill imo (unless you want to be very patient).

my second half of the season is not so good btw. i finished 1st position and 8 points clear in december. now it's february and i'm down to 3rd pos and 2 pts behind XD

Hi interinter

Thanks for the reply

I understand what you are saying about formation, my 4-4-2 includes
RB, 2 CB, LB, LMF 2 DMF RMF 1 AMF 1 CF (or 2 CF)

I actually lost first 3 fixture(1 home 2 away) in my 1st ML season
(on TP LV) by using this formation(thats why I dont use it anymore), IMO unless your attacking efficiency(possess the ball untill scoring a goal) is like......over 85%,
once COM win back possession on a break away, COM will start cheating and you will have to defend flawlessly and with all the luck
on your side, in my experiece, COM will put the goal in the net whatever
you do(TP LV), annoying like hell...... but I need to get used to that and live with it...... its not that easy. The good part is that sometimes
I can take revenge and score a goal back against COM, but it is haaaard.:realmad:

Will use diamond 4-4-2 and put Callisto upfront in my next fixture.

As for toning down difficulty level, TBH I ve not tried prof LV yet, I
dont want to lower down difficulty LV for my ML default, want to sense
what a genuine chanllenge feels like, but still cant handle keep losing
games because of peprogrammed COM cheats, as long as I can score
some nice goals i ll be happy, so its ok to keep it that way. Thanks
for your advice BTW, will see how long my patience will last with ML
default in D2 league, hope wont be too long, its just a video game
anyway.

Even on Prof LV, I dont think I will do much better than you.
2 points behind is not a big prob, 1 win will lift you up on the table
again, so just give COM all you got, should be ok.

Will take out my fury on beginner LV to get pychological balance.

Good luck
