How are you getting on in ML Offline

Have not seen threads about how you are coping in ML offline, so i
want to make a thread for PES fans to talk about it. (I am on PS3)

I started ML yesterday using ML original team (on Top player LV) to
play D2 League for Spanish league(my budget is around 3 million euro).

Played 7 fixtures, Lose 6, Draw 1, win 0 ..... being at the bottem of D2 standing table.

Those D2 league fake teams give me hell lot of troubles to my defense,
opposition's through balls on wings or right through in the middle to my goal is so hard to defend, tried different type of tackles, they work sometimes especially well timed sliding tackles which is more than useful
and saved my ass in most of the away fixtures and even home matches.

The annoying thing is AI opponent can use burst run to accelarate and
get past you on both wings after recieving through passed ball, but my player can NOT burst run to catch up with them, hold up play and tracking or tackling (out of reach) is nearly helpless, sliding tackle nomally got me booked even with red card.

Do you think i will get fired like in PES 2012 or i will have to choose
a better team to restart ML ? any ideas or answers are appreciated.

I only scored 2 goals in 7 fixtures, i can not work out how to score more
goals, maybe because my players have poor stats, like in 50's or early 60's. I do not see much difference made for playing better by changing
Tactical assistance or preset tactics, i desperately need help with this.

My formation is 4-2-3-1. I bought 2 CBs to strenghen my weak defence,
and a LMF to quicken my left wing(all from youth team).

well ...... i play awful on topplayer, i need a win and score more,
but ..... how?

IMO Playing on topplayer LV using ML default is worse than fighting Capra demon in Dark souls(using low level character), but firebombs or pyromancy spell can nail that b*s**d. I melee killed him with a low LV character BTW.

I'm currently 21 games into my season with United (Top Player) and I sit 3pts clear of Liverpool at the top of the table. It's only become this way in the last few games, after they lost to both West Brom and Arsenal.

I've got Chelsea and Man City to come, so it's likely to look a bit different soon.

I'm out of both the Cup and CL though. I lost 1-0 to Birmingham in the Cup, and came 3rd in my CL group consisting of Benfica, Valencia and Nordsjaelland. :/

Yet to find out my Europa opponents though.

Good luck with yours. Playing with the defaults would frustrate me no end.

Thank you for sharing your ML experience, i just played 11 matches in
D2 league, draw 2, lose 9, win 0 ......... at least i am glad that i scored
4 goals, but what the hack!!!??? conceded 24 goals.

I want to win(using default team), but it does not matter that much to me anymore, as long as scoring goals and hopefully draw some matches, i ll be happy. For now winning a match is too much to ask for.

I can NOT seem to see the light of hope for being promoted to Spanish
league, my current imperative objective is to avoid going bankrupt which i think will happen to me soon if i continue to play like that.

Ingame info says if bankrupted, i can still play matches but embargo all personnal activities like transfer in or out players, if it works like that,
i d rather be fired, so i can choose a better reallife team to start ML all
over again, but doing those things all take a lot of time.

The only Good news for me is 2 days ago, in Match mode (Topplayer LV, form arrow all red up for me and my COM opponent---SPAIN), I beat
SPAIN with 0:1 (i m away) by using France, Benzema scored and Ribery
assisted, I must say using player like Ribery and using a player like... from ML default squad can mean days and nights in PES 2013. After the game, when the song "On top the world the world" rings out, i jumped out of my seat and danced to it, that feels superb, this is why i play PES I think.

If remembered right, I used different international teams to play against SPAIN trying so damn hard to win, including ITALY(me lost 2:0), and i lost around 24 matches at least, drew some games too, finally my effort
was payed off, yeeeees, I defeated Spain, love to do it again and again.

Luckily, things improved, and in the Europa round of 32, I'm 5-0 up after the away leg against Celtic. It's my biggest win on the game thus far.

The last game I played was a scrappy 3-2 win at Craven Cottage. It leaves me 6 clear of Man City with around 12 games to go. Only Spurs and Liverpool left to play of the "big" teams.

Maybe I should stop playing ML using Default team, choose a decent
team to retart ML.

I definitely pushed my luck a few times in the City game. Aguero hit the post. I reduced Chelsea to only a couple of chances though.

Andy Carroll is a bastard though. He's scored 3 goals in the two games against me, and I've only managed to pick up 1 point off of West Ham this season. :/

It is true, even fake teams in D2 league can be a devastating force after I give away my ball possession to them cheaply, they launch a quick counter with long ball or deadly through passes 9 out 10 times they will score, I can feel it. Thats how those lesser teams got my ass
kicked with normally 2 goals up in 1st half.

I should be more patient with the attacking build up play and not losing
ball possession at all costs, will see to it, thanks.

About being lucky, in the game I beat SPAIN by using FRANCE, I burst run Ribery on the right wing and through passed the ball to Benzema who was running in the middle near penalty box, the ball just magically
wickedly rolled through Pique's two legs to Benzema who took a one-touch shot, the ball flied into upper left corner, LOL, wonderful.

TBH, SPAIN has at least 2 MUSTBEIN scoring chances, 1st one the ball was blocked off by my CB accidentally(my goalie was NOT in the goal),
second one on the post, the ball was deflected to my goalie, not to the
net.

I just got my first ML D2 league WIN 1:0 (20th fixture topplayer LV) against HJORKWESLAND BK who stands 17th on the table, I am still
18th at the bottom and H BK is 4 points above me, but the WIN lights up my confidence of playing better and not going bankrupt.

Played 20 matches, lose 13, draw 6, win 1.

I'm playing as Spurs on Top Player. 3 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses in my first 8 BPL matches. Still struggling a bit with defence, as there are moments when the opposing player seems able to waltz past my defenders no matter how many I have behind the ball.

The one thing that pisses me off is the international matches a day before the league. I mean, c'mon - use your brain, Mr Seabass!

as mentioned, it is very hard to defend and attack, especially with poor goalie. i realized that and bought a better one at jan transfer. things have gone pretty well since then.

one thing that i think everyone should do first when starting ML, is to grab one or two youth players that have better stats than the current lineup.

I know how you feel using ML default(TP LV), hard to play well with most players overall stats around 60's, agree with you about shitty goalie who sometimes assists AI attackers LOL. I also bought a goalie from youth squad, want to polish him with equipment.

I played better since Feb, because my 2 CBs developed their stats
nicely one is 72, another 75, also other players increase stats at least by 1, those improvement helps me a lot. My opponents(D2 teams) seem to develop stats much slower and slightly getting weaker especially in my home fixtures. Its time to fight back.

My ML save with arsenal:
Difficulty: Top Player
Match time: 15min

Season 1: Started very very good, with 0lost and only 2draw and rest win in the Premier League. Even though I lost against Southampton in the firsr round of the FA Cup...And was easy through the CL gruop stage. But the second half was different, United was chasing me and I started to looes matches, and with 5games left, I had only 1point on United, and the next match United took over the lead by 1point. And it was that close to the final match, where I won 3-1 against Fulham, but United won 3-2 against QPR and won the league

And the Champions League i lost against Inter in the semi final, but that no surprise, when Inter's midfield was: Cambiasso - Sneijder - Xavi - Messi..

Just finished 1st season with ML default in D2 league(TP LV)

Position: 17 Lose: 18 Draw: 12 Win: 4 Goal: 14 G conceded: 43

Embarassing, but have to swallow it, leave the past behind, look into
the future.

I am glad that I won the final fixture 1:0 against Jorudberg FF who is
1 point above me positioned at 16. Screwed up some home fixtures
by hurrying up attacks, then got countered and lost(my own fault, no
any other excuses).

Expenses in total: 2281000 euro Expected earnings: 1750000
(for season 2)

Have no idea who to buy in, will have a good look at Youth team.

Any suggestions about this will be very much appreciated.

Anyone noticed how on offline ML rival team players never end up wearing brand boots? (nike, adidas, mizuno...) after 2 seasons rival team players only wear pes boots.

Had hoped that they would have done away with this in 2013, it annoyed the shit out of me in 2012 :realmad:

Played 3 fixtures in Season 2, still very frustrating, lost first away match
2:1, also lost second away game 1:0, got a draw 0:0 in the 3rd home
match.

I hate losing games, hate those fake teams, they take advange of every mistake I make to give me a hard time, if a inaccrate pass is intercepted by AI, they will either quick pass the ball around leading
to 1on1, or deliver through ball pass onslaughting my back line, I must admit in some games defending is just impossible like away fixtures for example. Blue or purple form arrow can also ruin my defence, AI makes
the most of poor form to f**k me over, it sucks. But on the contrary AI defence is nearly impenetrable. Being creative, making openings are
hard as hell, but it is possible sometimes.

Thank God KONAMI did not put up D3, otherwise I will be relegated down to that and perhaps never get out from abyss.

I need some PES experts or ML wizard to instruct me, guide me to get
promoted to Spanish league.

any thoughts or ideas about this are warmly welcomed.
