How do I turn off Autosave in ML

Autosave in Master league is very painful especially during transfers.
It saves the game then the system data then loads the screen.
I tried to say no when it asks you during master league setup to save your data which worked but when I then go to System and select save it just asks me to enable it again

Anyone know how to turn it off for good.

You can disable it at the start, it says 'create new save data' and if you press O or B then it'll back out and ask if you want to disable autosave. I'm not sure how to do it during ML though :(

did it work? I tried that for BAL and it seemed to work at first, but disabling autosave meant disabling save at all, so as soon as I wanted to save my progress, I had to enable autosave to be able to save at all. Is it the same with ML?
(I just borrowed the game for a day and already returned it, which is why I can't check myself and am asking ^^)

Same with ML turning off Auto Save at start of ML disables all saves. When you try to save it the manual way it asks you to enable auto save if you say no then it doesn't do anything. I think its idiotic that you can't save a game when you want. I know its to stop people from cheating by loading the game again but in an offline game does it matter to Konami? its not like it will affect online ranking.

How do we post feedback to Konami to fix this in a future release?

Couldn't agree more. I only play offline, and I've never used the autosave on previous versions of PES. It just holds things up.

yeah hope they fix this... if you saved it once manually the auto save is on again. dont understand this....

Haha - it's like this every year. Tiny little things they change, when there are soooo many in-game-aspects that needs to be addressed! I don't see how they even had the time to think about black boots or autosave in ML..

Adam's said he's fed this back to Konami. I did what the first post said but I have to save it anyway later. Pisses me off thinking Konami have messed up alot of things in Master League

Use two save files, its not rocket science. The game only autosaves on one file, so save a second file, then resave over the first file to reset the autosave to it. Then you have a backup file that autosave wont touch. Job done.

That's true indeed, but why - why, oh why - do we even have to bother with that?

Why is Konami removing a perfectly working feature for no reason whatsoever?

It just creates extra work for the users: first we spend 10-15 minutes looking for the option in the game to turn off autosave, then we spend another 10-15 minutes searching the web and going through threads like this one, and then we spend the remainder of the year (until next version comes out) having to work with two concurrent save slots.

All of this for what? What has been gained? n-o-t-h-i-n-g.

It's not rocket science, but it's extra work without any gain at all. And that pisses me off.

(please notice that the above rant is not directed towards you, but towards Konami)

It's not about going back to a previous state, but the delay of the gameflow that results from autosave. Every save takes ~15sec (if you're not on SSD), which is irritating enough when you just want to check sth or change training, but when you constantly just jump ahead 1 day durint transfers-time...a real p.i.t.a.

So has everyone been doing that and having two separate saves. But once you save with the second file does it not automatically become an autosave file?
