How do you gain Skill Cards and new Positions?

Anyone figured this out yet? You can't allocate focus points like pes 2011

I just rerolled until I started with Speed Merchant. Now I'm happy as can be.

Create your player, then if your'e not happy, do it again, and again and again and again....until you'll get what you feel is ok. Simple as that.

I've just been told by my agent that i've just earned a new position by playing well for England as lone striker.

wow so now you can adapt to play in new positions. WOW. Also is there a way to tell the manager your unhappy for like being played out position or not getting chances like in master league when players come to your office when they're unhappy

When you get your stats sorted during creation, you have a chance to get relevant cards.

I scrambled until I got Speed Merchant. Got Super Sub aswell when it finally popped up.

Well, I STARTED with it (although it has no real effect on the managers choice in playing me as a sub or not). Don't know if you'll get it that way though, maybe.

I don't know how to gain a new skill card either, you MUST be able to do it, as there's a trophy for earning a new skill card.

Yes, but so far I haven't heard anyone who actually has earned a new skill card during the career.

I earned a new card at 20yo. But now I'm 22 and no new cards

I dont like the way they made it this year.
When ure player turns 33 and u play first games u get lots of cards,
but only dribbling abilities and 1 touch play. I tested it with all my players and im sure. They were all SS so i dont know about other positions. So its easy to get them but almost useless if you play offline because of age.
