Why do you still come to this forum if you hate PES so much? You need a new hobby.

I come back briefly ever year to see the progress that Konami has made hoping for something miraculous. I am still waiting. :(

It is also makes good for conversation regarding the only 2 games in the market that simulates football.

I have been happy to share my opinions in past ..although it may not suit the liking of many. But have done so without being penalized by PESgaming sir Mod.

However, if you feel that my criticism of the game is not need. I can move on to another site that offers freedom to express opinions. :(

Thanks

Yeah he works for fifa!

Btw: i hear some saying to instal national teams in pes 2017 to have a world cup feeling but national teams do you have in pes 2018 right? Why pes 2017 then??? Huh??

Yeah that's right, all the national teams from the world cup are in PES 2018. Idk about 17, maybe it's missing some, so people who play 17 may need to install them.

I really hope PES does release something for the world cup! Maybe a mode with the world cup theme, ball, etc. If it is true that they are making an agreement with the Russian Football Union, then maybe we could get some stadiums too? That would be amazing!:D IDK why they don't have the stadiums for the teams already in the game. They all just built new stadiums and two of them (Spartak, Zenit) will host the world cup.

I get that a lot of fans have the money to buy an interim game, but as a poor person, the DL works for me.

Maybe EA should make a full game for WC and release it $59.99 for those who are passionate about a separate game. For fans like myself who cannot afford it because of food and accommodation constraints ... No tengo dinero mi amigo!

Please reconsider your decision to stop buying EAs Fifa game every year. We desperately need your money to continue making the game. I spend a total of $800 American dollars on FUT every year so I believe you can at least give us $59.99.
Thanks

Peace

No wonder you are poor... Spending 800$ every year on a single game...

Why you say you don't have money but then you spend 800$ on a game? Are you lying or is there something I don't understand?

Now seriously, why do you think EA Sports desperately need money? They are rich, very rich... And you just keep on feeding them. That's why the world is the way it is. Rich people get even more rich and poor people get even more poor.

Oh, sorry, that was sarcasm. I didn't understand it at first. You were defending FIFA and EA so hard I couldn't recognize it. You know we have those smilies for something. Use them in the right moment.

But to release a game in this century and then have the fans apply fixes is ridiculous.

Btw, I don't think it is ridiculous for fans to do their own fixes to the game. It only makes the community better and more passionate about the game. I'm pretty sure you start enjoying something even more when you customize it to your own liking. That's where PES is strong. That's why we have all those amazing projects, like the Classic Teams, the All National Teams OF, etc. Also, if they didn't have those unlicensed leagues, we could never have those amazing projects.

So instead of making a proper world cup game (like 2010 and 2014) EA is doing this pathetic dlc. That's supposed to be a good thing?! All the football fans around the world waited for four years for a world cup game. That's the only chance most people have to use their country in a football sim and EA just wipes its ass with their expectations. This way they can get people who are desperate for at least something world cup-related to buy their FUT 18 game along with the "free" dlc. So they still score profits without actually making a game. Sсum.

I'm not a fanboy of either game to be honest but, geez, you're COMPLAINING about EA gifting customers free DLC rather than stinging them for another full price game??? WTF??? They should be applauded for not ripping their customers off. If you want to play the World Cup, instead of spending £40 on the World Cup game, you can spend £40 on FIFA 18 and that way get to play the World Cup AND club football as well.

Stop whinging about first world problems mate. You sound like a petty little PES fanboy. Appreciate a good thing when you see it, whatever side you're loyalties lay.

Problem is, there are people who actually like to play the full qualifiers. Some, as sobakus said, with their own country, which isn't usually on a football game if it is a smaller country. That's the spirit of the World Cup: Include teams from all over the World. Or at least it should be. As I already said, I enjoyed the 2014 World Cup edition a lot. One of my favorite FIFA's.

Of course I agree with releasing free content. Paid DLC are one of the biggest issues in the gaming industry nowadays in my opinion: we pay 60$ for a game and then we have to pay more if we want the rest of it? Doesn't sound fair. But that free stuff shouldn't take away the real spirit of the world cup. Just having the 32 teams, which are already in the game anyway, seems like cheap stuff. Maybe the only new thing are the stadiums.

Also, microtransactions are another issue, and we have to think how free that content really is. FUT stuff? It's even worse than gambling. That's where they really rip off their customers, not on a World Cup game like 2010 or 2014.

I'm not a fanboy either. I like PES a lot, but I also enjoy FIFA. Both games have pros and cons.

Whats up Tomassi? How is life treating you. I hope well.

We are both 14 yrs bro ...14 yrs on this site. Can you imagine that?

I just love to see how defensive they get about PES. Free stuff is free. How can that be a bad thing? How is free a rip off?

Let see if PES release something for the WC and what form it will take.

Question to all. Has PES ever released a World Cup Game?

Where is your cleverness now? Free things can be a rip off. Greedy companies like EA are masters in marketing and they know how to rip off their customers. For example, FIFA Ultimate Team. It is "free", in theory. but EA really knows how to make a game mode so addictive that lots of people would spend lots of real money on it. So addictive that not only EA sells those FIFA points, but several other "illegal" stores selling coins were also created. I'm not saying Konami doesn't have it's schemes too, specially on My Club mode.

Btw, you also got pretty defensive about FIFA. At least, I pointed out what's wrong with PES and how could it become better. That's not defending, that's making a critic and trying to improve it. And FIFA fan boys "brainwashed" by EA Sports bullshit and little free stuff don't help.

Personally? I don't defend any of the companies (EA/Konami). I defend the community. The ones who do things that are really free, like all the projects for PES you see in here. Just for passion, like football should be.

 I am not here to "defend" Fifa Phillip.
Your post shows a negative impact on your literacy level. I am a fan of Fifa and still mess around PES a bit. So the label of Fifa Fanboy suits me perfect.... if you think name calling would change my views.

Check the name of this thread again and see why it is relevant to discuss Fifa.

There is no need to defend Fifa as YOU have pointed out how successful EA is. FUT spending is not a con by EA it is a service that is provided to fans. If you want to buy coins, then do so at your own gain or peril.

I know a lot of PES fans hate to hear this fact..Fifa is the #1 game in the world where millions of millions of fans play. Do we continue to ignore the fact that PES is not doing great at all and curse me out for saying Fifa is the holy grail of football?

You wanted to buy a new Fifa game. Think carefully about how this contradicts your arguments.

They are just video games Phillip...nothing to get your panties in a bunch about.

Hmm, it seems I was a bit rude, again. I didn't want to start name calling. Sorry about that. It really sounded like you were defending FIFA. Is my literacy level so bad? I don't think so, but no one is perfect. But if you weren't defending FIFA, then no one here was getting defensive about PES either, like you said.

Buying FIFA points is an EA Service. They wanted to get people addicted to "gambling" (a.k.a. buying packs) in order to sell those packs. They don't need that amount of money. 15 years ago there weren't any microtransactions in games and they still keep on making profit with them. But some people were "smart" and took advantage of EA's greediness and of people's addiction on FUT to make cheaper prices on FUT coins. That's what I meant before.

Btw, where did I say that I wanted to buy a new FIFA game? And, even if I want, I wouldn't buy one for it's full price. I never bought a FIFA for it's full price. Why would I do it when I can have an used copy for much cheaper? And, even if I wanted to buy a new FIFA game for full price, that wouldn't contradict any of my arguments. You can't contradict my arguments using one of my personal wishes or characteristics. That wouldn't be logical, it would be a fallacy, an Ad Hominem to be more precise. My "name calling" could be a fallacy too, so, I apologize again.

And yes, FIFA might be more popular right now, I can't deny that fact. But I can ignore it andd keep playing PES, making it better on my own way. More popular doesn't mean better. It only means they have more power, more money and are more persuasive. Konami has a smaller budget than EA, that is also true. FIFA is winning right now just because of their budget. As I already said before somewhere, if Konami had the same budget as EA, probably PES would rule over FIFA. But it doesn't. So we see the impact that money has nowadays.

Those are videogames, that's right and I can't deny it . But, as you can see, we've already jumped over to other topics, such as money, greed, power, ("name calling") etc.. So, all in all, it's not just the videogames. They can lead us to think about other stuff and teach us a variety of things, just like a movie or a documentary. And it's good to discuss about it. If we are here talking about this it's because it might be a bit important, otherwise, we wouldn't be here discussing it, would we?

Nothing against FIFA, played a lot of UT in the past and had lots of fun, but never bought a simple pack with real money. I didn't need a team of TOTY/TOTW/etc. to win some matches and have fun. Do you want to know what I honestly believe about FIFA and PES? They are great ideas on the wrong hands. Both of them.

PES will live forever, either in Konami's hands or on ours. See, for example, PES for Ps2. Konami has stopped supporting it a long time ago, but I still see lots of fan made patches for ps2. Even if PES "officially" die one day, the editing won't stop. It might even get stronger. Is like some people say, you only give value to something when you lose it (probably it is what happening now with Konami and UEFA license )

So, keep peaceful and don't be deluded by "free" stuff. Remember, nothing is free in life. If they are offering you something is because they want something in return.
