if the team wants him they'll take him..

It usually takes me a while for my players to get loaned out. I find out that loaning players out isn't really beneficial since they don't get PT there.. I also had some weird loan transfers like Juventus wanting a 61 CM.

I loan them out and their stats don't approve while the young players I keep grow a couple of points overall.

I haven't tried that in PES2011 yet, but like MLS says, it's annoying if they just go sit on someone else's bench.
MLS - I take it 2011 is no better? More often than not the loanees are just riding the pine and stagnating?

I loaned out 3 players for kicks. I should have paid better attention to where they were going. Two went to AIK and have played 2 and zero games, while another player has gone to Udinese Calcio and has played 14 games and scored a few goals. This is at the 1/2 way point of the season and it will be interesting to see how much they improve by the end of the season.

The majprity of players i have loaned out come back with no improvements, thats terrible, whats the point of the loan if not to get your young players more experience than you can give them at the time.

3 seems to be the limit.

ALWAYS check out the bench of the team requesting the loan. If they have more than one better player in your player's position(s), they will almost never use your guy, as the CPU almost never rests its better players until they're practically dead due to an algorithm that weighs stats vs condition. If their players are of similar or worse quality, your player will play, as the computer will then rotate based on stats, form and fatigue.

Also, loaning players with condition of <4 is pretty pointless, as they'll be prone to have poor form and won't be played. Loan a player with a 5, and he'll usually get games just because he's fit when others aren't. Unfortunately, quite a lot of (non-Youth Team) players under 21 have form of 3 by default.

Finally, make sure you only loan to teams in the "official" leagues. Loaning to an "other leagues" team will produce no more than ~10 appearances if your player plays every game, and that only if they're in Europe (and those teams usually don't get past the playoffs or group stage, meaning a potential max of 6 or 7 is the most common outcome). The teams that aren't in Europe typically play ZERO matches.

Choosing the right team for the right player can pay off. I have two I loaned out in January. The one in D2 has gone up two OR points after 15 apps, while the other, at Ajax, should go up a third after another game or two, currently at 21 apps thanks to his team being in Europe and the Cup. Best return I ever got was a striker I loaned out an entire season to a Juve side with almost no other playable forwards. The guy played something like 38 games at 17 years old, went from a 73 to an 80! I wonder if the bigger teams' finances positively affect their coaches and the like, meaning players grow more from the training there than at small clubs.

Loaned out players have to play to improve stats, like a post above said Juve loaning a 61 CM, he isn't gonna play much, if at all so he'll come back with Zero improvment.

My guess is if your player is under 72, I'd loan him out to a D2 side where he is gonna play a decent amount of games.

The Eristic: thats one thing I was wondering. Does the game take training into acct? If so a big club - with a theoretically better training setup - would lead to bigger gains, assuming the player also gets some matches in. That could explain your massive jump. 4 points from playing, 3 from training?

Why would a team who isn't going to play a player take him on loan? they wouldn't, so it is ridiculous to happen in the game.

I play ML as liverpool and I currently have Daniel Ayala out on loan to some D2 team and he seems to be playing a few games and has gone up from a 69OVR TO 71OVR and has only be loaned out for a month or so. Also, if you loan a player out at Janurary for a year, i'm taking that you don't get him back till Jan the next year yeah? Or does he come back after the end of the season and the computer takes that as a year?
