How to stop overload of big singings.

If you're annoyed of all the big clubs always making big transfers all the time, I found a solution to at least slow it down. Before I started my ML I went to all the big 5 star money clubs, UTD, Barcelona, Marid, etc. and even some 4 star clubs and I made sure their roster was full by filling the spots up with the default guys from the free agents. And so far I haven't seen one huge transfer yet.

Cheat.

Haha no way! It's def slows down the transfer window with big name signings, I think it makes it a bit more realistic.

And it's not like I can make any big name transfers with my $8,000 budget they start me off with.

There's also the unrealistic, pointless signings as well, Spurs buying Tim Krul when they've got Lloris, Pablo Aimar signing for Liverpool and Rafael VDV going to Barca for example. I've had to overwrite Pirlo, Gerrard, Xavi and Lampard as well, changed their stats, age etc.

Gerrard is now at MUFC under the name and appearance of Borthwick-Jackson, Lampard is back at Chelsea but as Chelsea U19 captain, Charlie Colkett. This had to be done after Xavi ended up at BvB, Gerrard at Spurs and Pirlo at Real.

Filling up the squads is a good idea as it happens, wish I saw this thread before I started my latest ML with Forest, that said, there's not much you can do when WHU sign Aubameyang...

But these odd signings do happen. No one would have predicted Lampard to Man City for example. Is Krul to Spurs any different to all those keepers that went to Chelsea when they already had Cech in goal? eg Mark Schwarzer getting 4 games in two seasons when he had the option of joining Arsenal as their first choice keeper.

Speaking of Gerrard, I had him at Woking, then sold him when I got offered a high price for him when I was getting scared that he might retire on me. The next season he then got signed by Spurs as well. At the end of that season he retired but is still playing for England!?! This prompted me to search for him (I also fancied signing baby Gerrard) but he doesn't exist ... 'cept that he's playing for England.

If Krul was on the bench then maybe, but he starts and Hugo Lloris is surplus to requirements, these unexpected transfers happen occasionally, but not all in one window like they do on PES.

True. Its one big chaos mostly. There are some patterns that exists, obviously big teams buy more players with hight ratings, but the age or who that player is - leaves lots of ???. Man City used to buy Gabriel Heinze last year, whenever you would start your ML. Ramos to Barca, Messi to Real, Gerrard to Man United, Xavi again to Real, I think all of these are possible in ML. As I remember from PES 15, weaker teams from lower divisions used to buy fake players or players from China, Kuwait who usually have also fake names, unless you edit them before starting ML.

ML is still in a somewhat teenager stage, at least in my opinion. Those efforts to make it better are afcorse very welcome, but there are still lots and lots of work that could be done to make it more realistic. Some of the stuff that ML already had, but stuff that was somehow lost. The other thing is and I`ve mentioned it already few times before, do they really want to make ML as realistic as possible? Realistic transfers and stuff? Konami have theyr own mindset, which is very interesting most of the time. Maybe they see ML as a completely fantasy thing, where anything can happen, while, for instance, EA focuses more on events that are likely to happen or at least have much more % likeliness to happen in real life, rather than Xavi to Borussia or Gerrard to Spurs.

And I still dont get the invention of completely fake teams appearing in ML?? They are for CL and Europa League to fill missing spots or how?? I would rather use remaining, but real teams from all the leagues to fill those places.

I've really enjoyed master league. Especially when you can slow down the transfers. The most annoying this is the same big name players like Tevez bounce around clubs every transfer window.

Yeah, Man United just bought Tevez in my ML. :D Similar thing was last year, when Man City would buy Gabriel Heinze and make him they`r starter.

i used to keep track of big name signings but stop because it became pointless. I'm sure in your next window Tevez will be sold somewhere else.

So Cristiano Ronaldo made a shocking move during winter transfer window and signed with Barcelona. My first ML season with Olympique de Marseille. Sergio Ramos always signs with Barca during summer window. Plus, Chelsea, Arsenal and other EPL teams are buying young players from Palestine and India with very strange surnames. Probably these are fake players.

Good shout with the "filling up squads" idea.

I too have a suggestion...

Edit their playable positions.
Example:
So, Jose says to Wayne 24 hours before a game and says "Wayne, you know you're playing velly well in that position behind Zlatan? Rooney replies "Errrrm yeah boss!", "Well Wayne, I want you to play just in front of the back four, as holding midfielder!" Wayne is shocked and replies with "Fock off you plick!".

So, Rooney in my game is now a AMF, SS and a partial CF .Rather than the Konami opinion of a DMF, CMF, LMF, RMF, AMF, SS, LWF, RWF & CF.
What this means is, any team in the market for any one of the above (Konami) Positions, mean they'll go for Rooney. I am now in my third season im ML and I think only a few top players have moved. Aguero to Real Madrid, Lewandowski to Man Utd, Bale to Bayern Munich and Fellaini to Preston North End.

I have edited around 2000 of the top players. This works, it really does.
