I wish they'd include the option to play as the whole team in BAL mode

It's pretty much unplayable when you're just controlling a single player because of how bad the AI is. Players just frickin' ignore you! :erm:

How about the boton that you use for call the ball? I mean the R2? as far as I know if you do a good job in the game players will trust you and pass the ball to you more frequently.

yes I agree, i dont think the AI in BaL are that bad.. you have to gain trust from other players in your team by playing good, then they will serve you well that's why this year BaL for me is more realistic gameplay than the previous BaL

yap...your new teammates aint going to pass you the ball more than often till you put in some consistently good performance. thats how you gain their trust and they will pass you the ball more often.

My problem with BAL wasn't that they didn't pass me - they did, and they did it well too.

The problem is that the AI seems so... poor. Especially in defending (holding down the Teammate pressure button really doesn't do anything of value).

How can you say that? It's obvious the result of you pressing the pressure button!!! Your teammates are aggressive when you press the button.

i agreed. When i played for AZ, and using the pressure button, we have the best defence over the season. least goals conceded.

I did the same thing..and yes it works for me.. it manage the defence quite well..

I want to add though that when you're new to the team your teammates don't "rush" to pressure when you press the button. But as your teamwork skill goes up and you become an important player on the team, they trust you more.

I'm sure you're experiencing the game this way, but I just don't. Not even after two full seasons with the same team.

I don't know, the AI feels lacking at best in defence most of the time. However, I could just be unlucky.

My problem was also not them not passing to me, they passed to me a lot, even when I was not the best ball and I was doomed to give it away.
Its frustrating watching them defend, they often throw in wreckless career ending challenges in an around the penalty box.
I often drop into the defence (i'm a CF) to insure they dont fuck it up.

they seem slow and stupid like taking too long with a pass not streching enough or trying to stop the ball going out, i can constantly run around the pitch pressuring no other player will do that.

I want konami to make the players more responsive and less dumb although there far better than last years game.
