Ideal support range for plenty of goals

Hello please can i get an answer

i need to know what is the best support range to get good through balls and lots of space to easily counter attack

would it be a lower number ie 1 . 2.. close togeher

or a higher range like 7.8

what do any of you who score lots of goals use

for support range

I also like to play through balls and attack on the counter so I have my settings on "through the middle" not out wide and a higher range so my players are more spaced apart. This drags opposition defenders out of position, creating more space for your attacking mids and fwds.
