Important pes 2015 option file petition

As some of you may know, PS4 and XBOX1 still hasn't got a fully functioning USB data transfer and media sharing system. This means we wont be able to save and upload PNG's and mp3 fan chants from our Next Gen consoles to PES 2015 and most possibly prohibit the sharing of other option files.

In order to keep our option files authentic and have the ability to share them to the rest of the community the whole media transfer element is a must have just like we have for PS3/Xbox360, therefore key community figures such as Glen the Magpie and many other have spearheaded a campaign to bring back these important features to our next gen consoles.

Now its for all of us thousands of PES fans to make our voices heard

So Xbox one got great update today, And let you upload photos and more through USB, is that mean Xbox one users will be able to upload option files to the game?

Possibly, but possibly not.... the way to test it would be to try & copy any save game file from your Xbox to your USB drive.

If you can then it will be possible to transfer OF's, but if you can't then it still won't be ;)

Is there any word from Konami if you are able to transfer option file data somehow to PS4/Xbone? PS4 has something called "cross save" (used for titles such as Hotline Miami that appear on multiple platforms - ie PS3, PS4 and Vita in this case), so they may be able to do something with this?

This news make me worry! I don't own a next gen console yet but this is a huge bummer

According to this link there is at least a possibility to transfer save-data via usb from one PS4 to another.

You can copy saved data to a USB storage device that is connected to the PS4 system. Saved data that you copy can be used as a backup, and you can copy saved data from the USB storage device to another PS4 and continue playing a game.

This could mean we can still share option files (edit data) on PS4. The only thing that can't be included (at least for now) are links to external images and audio files like kits, facescans, clublogos, chants, etc. as we are used to on PS3. So saving, copying and sharing of edit data with corrected names for players and clubs as well as updated stats, lineups and transfers could theoretically work. For me this is far more important than having nike logos on kits. I know for a lot of people the real kits are essential... but having real names would at least be a starting point until sony allows us to copy images and audio files to our "next-gen" consoles.

hope this works somehow... otherwise I stick to pes2013 because the upcoming "last-gen graphics" pc-version is no option either...

Just tried this myself, not possible to copy anything from USB to Xbox one or vice versa at this stage. Can view images, videos etc only currently.

Disappointing.:realmad:

Yes, Do you right.
It's frustrating, I hope Microsoft will take care of that, there is no way in the world that I'm going to buy the game without ! able to create teams and use option files!

Let's hope for a good news;)

I signed.

But question how did they do this on Xbox360 since you couldn`t import photos there?

And on PS4 you can make screenshots while browsing the internet - could that help?

I hope Konami is also talking to Sony!

On PS4 you can copy save data to and from USB drives, just like PS3.

Yes, got my PS4 tuesday and had a look around and your right save data transfer seems pretty straight forward with a USB *fingers crossed*.

I also had the idea of using screenshots for kit PNGs but i dont think the resolution will be as good.

Might not be possible to do, but if Konami could work out some way where a team could be exported from the PS3 version, then imported into the PS4 version then kits could be made using the PS3 version then added to the PS4 version. It's not ideal, but could be a good work around until Sony add the ability to import images. Obviously this doesn't real help Xbox users though.

That's what I was thinking in my post. Several games have data files that work on both PS3 and PS4. I believe you just upload them to the PS+ save data cloud.

Yeah usually only cross buy titles though, still doesn't mean it can't work. I know at one stage there were rumours that there would be the ability to upload teams/stadiums/etc directly from the game for other people to download, not heard anything about that for a while though.

Just tested now, You can copy savedata of your PS4 to a USB and to your PC
and transfer from PC to a USB to your PS4.

This means using edit data from an Option file looks 99% possible. Its just Music/image (fan chants and PNGs) sharing that doesn't look possible at the moment. :( COME ON SONY!!

smh, i do not want to go another year without a PES game, konami, sony & ms better sort this out so we can transfer the data, i simply can not play a game that is 50% complete, therefore i won't buy PES. :(

I wouldnt hold out any hope of Microsoft sorting this out for Xbox one. They never bothered to implement it properly for Xbox 360 ie couldnt simply import images the way you could on PS3. Sony will likely sort it for PS4 though. Very annoying as the Xbox one is a far better console that the PS4, just wish Microsoft and Konami could sort this out between them. A workaround must be sorted for release date or else no one is going to buy this on Xbox one. Surely Microsoft/Konami are not going to be so blind to that fact.

So, is it only the sharing part that will be a problem on next gen consoles? Will it be possible to add kits and logos from the USB-stick to your own console?

I wouldn´t really be interested in buying niether PS4 nor Xbox One if I can´t add some kits at least.
