International call-ups for players without a squad?

Hi,

If a player; a) isn't registered to an in-game national squad or b) isn't represented by an in-game squad (Bermuda, New Zealand etc), do they still get call-ups?

proably not, ive got players in my team that are good but dont get in the team like ashely young i brought him to manutd and he doesnt play internationl football and i dont think they can even make there way in to the internationals even if they are playing well.

I think master league has this programming where you cant have more than 3 players taken off you. I often collect Japanese players for my English team cuz I imagine the newspapers and fans nicknaming us the Yakuza hehehe and even though these guys will be the very best Japan has to offer, I won't ever have more than 3 taken away from me by internationals. If you want to avoid being plundered for international duty, try having a lot of the same nationality making sure it's a nationality that has a lot of people anyway ie; England or Spain. I actually think having players from obscure countries gaurantees having them taken when that country plays because there is nobody else to pick and all countries do play internationals regardless of whether they have a squad in the game or not. I know that because I created a player from the Philippines (automatically making him the only Filippino in the game!) and he still got called away for international duty even though his stats were garbage! Meanwhile I've got a 23 year old Rowland with an overall of 90 who can't even force his way into England past the amazing Peter Crouch and Emile Heskey

Well, maybe it's there. In FIFA for example, if the player has high rating, he is been called up for international dutys.
