Reviewers always lick the nutsack of EA sports i mean Need for speed get about the same rating as Gran turismo!!! i'd just ignore it to be honest everyones opinions different at the end of the day

Mostly it´s just bad reviews. Pc Zone Uk rating for Pes 2008 was 87% 
PC Gamer UK gave it 86%, Realgamer 8.4 and so on....
And yes EA pay great money on advertising so many reviewers are forced to write positive. That´s a well known fact.

It might be for some though
If you play fifa 12 for any good length of time, you will discover that this tactical defending is rubbish. Pes has been doing it for years, but easports just put it across as this fantastic addition to the game.
I'm not saying fifa 12 is rubbish as i'm enjoying it , but the defending is beyond frustrating and all you end up doing is chasing the AI all over the place just to try and get the ball back.
It will get old very quickly, rutter has even left the option there for you to change to the old legacy defending if you wish. The way i look at that is he can't be that confident in tactical defending can he.

I think PES is a game that you have to have time with and learn to play before it becomes enjoyable, its learing curve is much steeper than FIFA IMHO. Plus Fifa has all the bells and whistles that PES doesn't like more leagues, all the sponsors, the licenses and stadiums. A reviewer who is paid to review multiple games and is not a real gamer who takes the time to learn the game will see these factors and ultimately give FIFA higher scores.

Not having being exposed to either 2012 game yet, I'm going on 2011. Unless there's been a huge improvement in FIFA and a cataclysmic deterioration in PES, then I stand by what I said.

I can't believe how much props fifa is getting for incorporating the defensive system as if it's something revolutionary.
And that's their main selling point this year even though they ripped it off Pro like they done with so many things with the rest of the control figuration which they didn't have before.
It looks pretty on the surface however beyond that there is no depth to the game or the players who you control
Obviously it's very playable and pick up and play which caters more to the casual gamer, that's why they sell millions every year and get good reviews along with the presentation and licences that people get a hard on over.

I actually feel embarrassed for the reviewers, its show a fundamental lack of knowledge regarding football to rate fifa so highly. EA have gone backwards since fifa 2008, 08 not only accounted for inertia but it felt like a football sim.
EA have not paid reviewers, but reviewers are too scared of saying something that will not fall in line with what they think the mainstream wants to hear.

Yes I'm more than sure that they do, on facebook they showed a picture of drake ( so small you can't even see it ) I clicked on it and he doesen't even have anything in his hand, Title: DRAKE GOT HIS COPY OF FIFA 12!!!! <---- LIE, I can't believe they're even comparing FIFA 12 to PES 12 this year, it's totally insane and unbelievable, They're idiots, I talked to FIFA fans and they said the game was too hard, anyways PES 12 rules and Master League is soooooooo f'ing awesome, I love the signing ceramony, it makes you feel much more better instead of giving and offer to a player and hes in your team, it doesen't seem to real, I like the new Master League, people who didn't pick up they're copy should NOW!

As I've said before, it's a simple equation - if you think any of the recent FIFAs have been better than PES, then you're a child molesterer.

I like PES better than fifa because it feels more slower pace and more like a soccer sim to me. But Fifa is a great game and deserves all the good scores it gets. The developers put a lot of hard work into these games every year. They don't just create themselves. So give credit where credit is due. Both games are great.
