Like the one in PES6 ... Was great in which you pick a national team ,choosing your squad and go through the qualification to the world cup ?

thanks

Ah. I remember that. It was bloody epic. Makes no sense why they dumped it from PES2008 though. I can't see them adding back in though, its like when you could alter the kit combination on a match screen in PES5, small things like that gave the game extra gloss.

It always annoys me why Konami get rid of cool features, and replace them with shit like Pumpkin heads. On PES2 there was World and Euro Elite. What happens? It gets taken out. The Classic teams were always really good, but now they're full of players like Dennis Wise, with Pele, and the like being taken out. Its like Konami thought "Oh, younger gamers will never have heard of these players, so lets get rid, and put in players they would know." Konami have subscribed to the SkySports myth that football began in 1993. Getting rid of international challenge was a big own goal. It should be brought back, but with bigger groups and more teams, to mirror how it is in real life, and being able to do Asian and African qualification too.

pelé is still on classic brazil... so is garrincha...

I loved the mix of random players from wotever 4 teams...

would pick classic brazil, classic holland, classic argy and some superpower like real, who at the time had figo, zidane, ronaldo....

man the teams u used to make...

AND they'd let you play home and away with aggregates.... Thats really what I miss the most... the two legged draws...

I have said it beforei want World Cup qualifiers. I sure dont hope its becuase of trademarke rights. I mean on FIFA.com you can even see the World Cup final of the FIFA game. Sepp Blatter should be ashamed to let his organisation be associated to EA.

Ya... cuz FIFA is a great organization and Sepp Blatter is such a kind hearted and inocent individual... He's just trying to help out a lil game co

Loved the game mode. So much enjoyment and added a great new edge and freshness to the whole series, really baffled over the decision to drop it.

Taking your country through the Qualifying campaign was a great addition when it was included. I enjoyed getting to play against those CPU only smaller european nations who would give you a tricky match, fun. Also added variety.
What about an International Team version of Master league. You play the qualifiers for a season and a half then you play in the World cup if you qualify , then the next season the european championship qualifiers then the Euros. If you are good enough you also get the Confederations cup and maybe aif you win the World cup you get a Versus the Rest of the World XI match. You could also arrange friendlies on certian dates, or even the Home Internationals tournament if you were a British team. Instead of signing players you would have to drop/promote players to the squad as the years went by and your players aged or didnt develop as well. Also if you done the WC and Euros double you could get to enter a special Classic teams tournament mode where you play the 7 classic teams with your World cup winners squad.

this is exactly what i want, but i want it as a part of ML, for instance u can manage both a club and a country, or one of each. whatever you prefer.

Yes id go with that. Maybe it would be to compicated for the programmers to run club and international worlds side by side.
