Issue with edit data

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before. I'm new here.

I've been having a bit of difficulty with editing a few teams.

I've imported some bundesliga and national teams with the PES universe file and they're showing up with the correct players on the edit team screen.

The issue I'm having is when I select the teams in the local game screen they're still showing with fake players. The logos and kits and everything are fine but it seems that whatever I try, saving the edit data, updating, loading and trying again, the changes I make in the edit screen are not being applied to the live game.

Any suggestions?

Turn off Live Update in exhibition mode by pressing R3 or equivalent.
