Just checked my recent results:

Match 1 (home): Won 2-1
Match 2 (away): Drew 1-1
Match 3 (away): Drew 1-1
Match 4 (home): Won 3-0

Getting the hang of this thing now, but I've noticed that being at home seems to be important. Won every game at home so far on It's A Goal, that's 3 wins out of 3, but I haven't won a single one away, drawing 2 and losing 1.

Oh well, great start to the season, in 4th position, very happy with that 3-0 win :cool:

This is pissing my off! I draw vs a man who is 18th! I put my best squad (resting my best CB) and draw 1-1...
The good news are I sold a CM and get 3.0M and increases my club capital to 4.4.....also I buy a CB (22 years) who looks pretty good....

I think I'm going to have to go for players that age. No matter how high my offer (once the board stop blocking them), I can't get anyone. Maybe it is because I have too much competition in my team - who knows.

I just go for the players that have high ratings, they may be 33 - 39 but their stats are really good, and I get the occiansal youngster

I try to get youngsters who I need to train up as I was working on the basis that all the clubs with tons of money and huge stadiums are going for the players with high ratings. Hmmm :ninja:

lol, I tend to go for the older players because they only cost about 100,000 - 400,000 while the youngsters cost about 2 m - 10 m, much better getting a season out of a player that is nearly at a hundred stats that only cost 100k then getting a youngster with about 60 / 100 for 5 million.
