[JackWhoBRA] PES2010 png kits for PS3 09/10

Well, ive tried a few of these out now and they're very crisp in game man. Good work :D.

Tbh i think this is probably the best way to do them at the end of the day. The size is definitely spot on for the useable kit area as you aready know, and the height compression only effects a few kits so far...and its usually minimal so it certainly seems like the way to go. I think the Chelsea ones suffer the most simply because of the positioning of markings on their kit. On the home kit the badge does look quite small overall and the Samsung sposor seems quite compressed too. With the GK kit id suggest moving the sponsor down a bit as that sits right in a real sweet spot for compression which makes it look closer to the badge and too slim height wise. To be fair, ive yet to see Chelsea's kits in actual gameplay though, so they might look a bit better in the area that they really count. Im not sure atm.

Just tryin to help. Don't wanna come off as sounding negative or anything like that.

I was actually gonna offer you my Hull home and away PNG's to save you a little time but ive just found the home one has a little problem. The centre line looks a little thinner when imported for some reason. If you want those for the EPL collection just let me know and i'll PM you the away and get on with sorting out the home for ya ok. They are 142x253 btw.

No problem Jack! Just down the road... Of course, if you'll have time.
It's just that it is pretty much impossible to find a Serie B option file, unlike the Championship and the Bundesliga. But I definitely understand where you're coming from.
Thanks again for taking the time to do all this.

Brilliant kits Jack!!! :D

Using them atm and they are brilliant. Adding them to the teams you've produced so far. Any ideas as to when the rest of the premier league and the others will be released? I know you're busy getting the forumulas aswell.

Kutgw!!!

Morning, morning. Started to work on about 2 more last night and have the PNG's ready to test later on and should be fine, but wanna check first.

Getting excited to test my Sunderland home as added the feint, embossed emblem behind to make it hopefully look a bit cooler and fabricated a better looking emblem for all the kits. Been saving the testing for when get to them, like a little reward for my work.

I'm just wondering what is the best way to put your kits in the game? I've been putting them into the option file one by one but I keep noticing that they don't seem to align themselves properly. I think its a user error, which is why I'm wondering how you guys insert them.

Thanks for the hard work, when I have got them to appear correctly they look amazing.

Wicked! Glad to hear people are patiently waiting... Think Hull and Man City is just about done just need to test them but should be cool then will whack them straight up!

Just added 'Kit Markings' section to the formulae .xls doc cos thought that would be good for everyone.

The Captain's Armband colours are on their also, which is same for everyone in EPL. Below is the formula if anyone wants to get them now at all...

DESIGN 2 = 0-2-6 (4th from bottom left of preset colours)
DESIGN 1 = white
BASE = 0-2-6
DESIGN = 3

Nice work...took a look at the pgn's and they look nice!
I just have a little problem. I have no clue on how to transfer those to my PS3 in a way it can handle them. Could anybody explain that to me please?

Edit: I know there is a directory structure and directory names that need to be respected. So I guess I need to edit the desired team's emblem/kit, extract the created data from the "game data" folder to an usb stick, overwrite the created png with Jack's corresponding png on the usb stick, and finally copy/overwrite it back to the ps3 hdd. I guess there is an easier way to do it ain't I right?

Thanx!

The easiest way is to create a folder called e.g. 'STRIPS' on your USB and drop the images into it so folder has nothing in it but the images you wish to use for editing.

Insert the USB into your PS3, when recognised on the PS3 home screen (XMB) go to the top of the photos tab and the device will (should) be there.

Press ':triangle:' and 'Display All' and wait for all the folders to show up. Press ':triangle:' again folder called 'STRIPS' and 'Copy.' This will copy the folder and will now be a group/album of photos on your XMB (default name is just the date added)

Now the main part is done, start PES2010 and enter edit mode. Go to the 'Kit Markings' for the relevant team and go to 'Sponsor.' Press 'Custom' - 'Create New' - 'Import Data' and you can select the image you got from here and it will then take you back to the shirt and you can now move the location of the image to how you like.

Once happy, press ':x:' and save over whichever image you already have saved for that team. Alternatively, if you have none select 'Save New Data.' and it will be saved as your no. 001.

So I was guessing right! :) Thanx Jack! Who? Yes, thanks Jack! ;)

Keep up the good work!! I have an EU version of the game so UK OF's don't work. So this is salvation...Again, thanx Jack and all contributors!

I'll test it and give you my feedback.

Peace.

I can't thank you enough. I'm loving PES again now after my brief affair with the competitor! Looking forward to starting my ML.

Hi Jack!

These pngs are fantastic mate! Been using them for my Premier League editing. Its all I've been doing since I got the game ;-)

I know this may be a big request, but I was just wondering if you can have a go at some of the teams from the Bundesliga once the PL teams are done. Don't worry about it if you can't mate, just keep doing what you're doing!

He's done them, but they need to be re-edited for pes2010. Be sure they'll come next, and then the ccc turn.

Awesome! That's all I needed to know. Can't wait for the pes 2010 versions of the Bundesliga kits as well as the remaining PL kits.
