Noooooo lol its my beloved Sunderland's history making worst ever season lol

Premiership 1999-2000 - Now that was a season to cherish ;)

Certainly was, United were undisputed masters of everything, defending the Treble. Had some rather smart Umbro kits that year too.

Worn as the Souness revolution really started to kick off and Rangers embarked on their charge to '9 in a row' titles equalling Celtic's record. Largely helped by the signing of English internationals (due to English clubs ban from European competitions) and Celtic being in complete turmoil off the field, they ensured their domestic domination going on to win 11 out of 14 league titles.

Nothing greatly of note happened for Hibs in these years. They were only 87 years into their 114 year Scottish Cup drought although the following season (1991-92) would see them winning the Scottish League Cup beating my team Dunfermline in the final :crymore:

Worn when Hearts almost had one of their greatest ever seasons, alas they would lose the league on the last day of the season and then get thumped 3-0 by Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final 7 days later

Worn at probably the peak of the Romanov era. Qualifying for the Champions League (OK the qualifiers where they would lose out to AEK Athens) and the season after winning the Scottish Cup. Sadly the 2008 banking crisis would soon end 'Mad Vlad's' spending at the club which would end with them plunging into administration, still they beat Hibs 5-1 in a Cup Final so there was always that.

Amazing kits, could I throw another challenge your way please? (this is actually to merge real kits with a fantasy element).

What I'm after is four outfield kits for Aldershot Town (and a keepers' kit) I can PM you more details if you're interested.

Thanks Mike, really appreciate it.

Unfortunately regarding your request, I'm very busy with 'classic' teams & kits helping out RedTed & the guys. You'll probably find a lot more random kits popping up in here over the next few weeks/months (Grasshoppers Zurich & Levski Sofia just 2 examples coming up). If you pop over to the thread you'll get an idea of the teams they're looking to create. Unless the kits you want have the same template as ones I've done I probably won't be able to help just now, sorry.

Would you be up for just fixing the stars on Flamengo's 80's-based kit?

Yeah sorry Guimengo, I meant to change it ages ago but got distracted. I'll change it over the next few days and repost.
It wasn't my fault but that's what I get for trusting google image search :innocent:

Guimengo Do you know what the captains armband would have looked like at this time?

Hahahaha, there's no problem! So back until the early 1980's it was a simple white band, but since it's a general 1980's Flamengo uniform, you could recreate it as they wore later on (around when the famous Lubrax sponsorship began too). You can't see it too well but the lines are just like on the shorts, with a white background:

This was the old, simple that was there until the beginning of the decade:

Amazing work as always Pippjfreak!!
Could you give me some tips? Which tools/techniques do you use to get the best/right colour for a classic kit??
I ask this because most of the times when I see those old photos (most of them in bad resolution or faded colours) it's really hard for me to get the right colour tones in a kit.

Thanks mate, always nice to hear good things :D

Being honest about the colours there is no real 'trick' to it I'm afraid a lot of it is guesswork. I'm sure quite a few of my kits colours aren't correct.
I agree the old photos aren't great to work from (if they are even in colour, a lot can be black & white) I tend to use them for reference to the designs, for the colours themselves I try and find newer pictures of the jerseys from Ebay and collectors websites (oldfootballshirts.co.uk is a great source for British teams but it also has loads of shirts from all over the world. If you know of a similar website specialising in South American teams please let me know) and use the dropper tool in photoshop to sample the colour.
You also have to look at traditional colours of many teams, most teams don't change their colours too much over the years (at least over here they don't) as they can be almost sacred to a lot of fans so even if you can't find the exact kit you can normally find something close.
Lastly because of the way the lighting is done in PES try to stay away from any colour that has a saturation level of 100% or is a 'true' colour (eg a red that shows 100% red but green & blue are 0) As an example the colour I use for black has lightened over time (due to trial & error) and is now 37,37,37 on a 256 RGB scale (true black would be 0,0,0)
I would always tend to go a shade or two darker too, not sure if this is right as I haven't had a lot of feedback but I haven't had a lot of people complain either :D
