[KITS] D2 League Fantasy Kits: PREVIEW

Following on from my original idea and PES 2012 thread. [ http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=87477 ] I've decided to make more fantasy kits for D2 League and PES League again. I don't like created players with created stats running amok throughout my Master League. So I prefer to have the default players, along with my kits to brighten things up.

This time I'm sticking to designs based on real kits, last time I just totally made them up regardless of kit sponsor. I also rushed the last ones out as they took ages. But this time, I'm only doing them when I have time and therefore taking my time with them.

Will these ever be released? I don't know, due to the lack of interest from last years idea. Also, I noticed some people taking credit for others peoples' work (Not only on this forum; and hence why my preview pictures have a pattern over the top of them) So I'm still undecided if they will be shared, sorry. I'm not being spiteful. I've put my fair share of work into this community with last years kits and a PES 2010 Championship OF.

Hi Carano,

I remember your work for these on PES 2012 last year over on Winning Eleven blog and I think it's a fantastic idea. I also don't like Championship/Bundesliga teams made up of created players, also using the Konami fictional teams adds a bit of fantasy to Master League. I'm not sure if many others on here agree, but I for one hope it gets enough interest for you to persist with the idea again.

Yeah, I won't even download the new WENB OF with Sheffield Wednesday on, because it takes one 'wrong' stat on the user-created players and you may have a team of 'Van Persie's' and next thing you know, Millwall are knocking Man City out of the cup. It's pretty impossible to get a good balance of lower league sides and expect realistic results during ML with custom stats.

Regarding my kits though, I actually found out that I could just rip the D2 and PES League emblems from the PC demo of the game. If only I knew that last year when I took photos from the TV and cut them all out. Argh! I thought you needed the full game.

It seems most people on here are Europeans who want the Bundesliga etc, so I doubt the majority will even care about these, lol.

Very cool idea I checked out your work last year and I am quite impressed with quality of work. Sucks about people taking credit for your work but I guess that is always a risk with an open source format of this site and others like this. Cheers!

They look real good. I am not actually using Bundesliga nor Npower Championship and I'd love if you would share those kits. Especially because I'm playing a ML with a fantasy team and I would love if you'd share them.

I'm also having to recreate some emblems from scratch at the smaller resized size, as some of them look really blurry and pixelated if I just resize the 128x128 emblems. You might notice the Cantlesir Spor emblem on the kits on my first post, I used the wasp for their emblem because the default emblem looks terrible when resized so small.

Truly awesome work, i myself tend to leave out the bundesliga as it causes uneven stat generation, but love creating fantasy teams to run through ML
hope you decide to release these kits as they would make the clubs look amazing

Hi Carano. I used your kits last year and I think they are awesome! Can't wait to use them this year too!

I copy al the players that we lose with updates over the fake players of the D2 League and Pes league. This way they we all still appear in ML. And with nice looking kits it's fun to play those teams!

Nice 2 see you've opened a new thread for D2 fantasy kits Carano, i saw your work on winningelevenblog.com back in 2011 and was amazed with the quality of your work and the idea of creating fantasy strips for the D2 league and also implenting generic fantasy stadiums which gave a real authenticity and buzz when playing in the D2 league, your idea helped me go on and make my own D2 fantasy kits in 2012 and now in 2013 and i owe a big thanks 2 u 4 that! Keep up the great work.

I only really have D2 to do in mine. Although I've put Rangers FC in there and my Master League team, the Hurricanes.

Yeah, I plan to make a few smaller stadiums again, too. Can't have these D2 League lot playing in the big ones in the game! I deleted my USB with all of my backgrounds on though without thinking about a month ago! I had a good windmill, a farm, streets and all sorts! Even lost my fantasy teams and my rivals fantasy team (That I overwrite WE and PES United with) Lost their kits and the custom emblems that I made which took ages!

Thanks alot mate! Just checked your threads, some great work in there, I don't know how you have the patience to do all of those! Making fantasy kit's is one thing, but having to gather all the reference pictures to make real kits and trying to get them spot on must be so annoying, but you have done an awesome job with them!
