Konami advertising joke

Anyone else totally hacked off that konami have added a massive great big ad banner to in game play, it's absolutely rediculous and un-called for and has pretty much put me off buying anymore pes releases. Seems to have appeared since the march update.

It's a small price to pay (although you yourself aren't paying anything!) for Konami to get more money, that they can invest in improvements for PES 2012.

Yeah, it makes it more realistic if anything seems as though the world of sport is crammed full of adverts and commericalism.

I haven't seen any.

But actually I liked it.
I remember in PES 2008 when you played Online there were different ads in the game, and even the ads surrounding the pitch changed from time to time to real ones instead of the Konami ones.
I really liked that

Can't say I've noticed it yet, although maybe its so obvious I just assumed it was always there.

Anyway, I would prefer ingame ads to be incorporated a little bit more subtle, like on advertising boards, or during highlights. Not a logo simply plastered onto the background during loading, like we saw in recent years.

On the replays there is a small advert in the top right hand corner. I think the OP didn't have his weetabix today.

its probably 3 times as large as the score/time bar in the top left corner, granted it mainly appears in all cut scenes and replays (which there are a lot of) but its right in your face, like having it engraved on your retina. there generally shouldnt be banner ads on games we've paid for. As said already, subtle ads are fine on the hoardings, but not this blatant cashing in on our backs

As I've said before, Konami has made it clear that their business model is purely based on financial gain.

Some developers strive to make award winning games, some try to strike a balance, and some go for the gold.

I'd stay away from Konami if you were looking for quality material.
