KONAMI...drown yourselves you traitors!

KONAMI has just announced a September 27th release date for PES 2012 in the Americas. Well is it strategic? Really, I don't care. The only thing I care is that Europe is the continent that has been making PES alive for so many years and now they stab us in the back by releasing our favourite game earlier in a continent of people that don't really enjoy PES and as for North America, they don't even enjoy football or... "soccer" as they call it.

This is a big and bold middle finger to the continent of football and to the European fans that have "made" this game what it is, if it wasn't for the British, French, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Italian, etc. PES would be just another dead project from KONAMI.

Thanks for being the latest traitors in videogaming world and for "just like everyone else" bending everything around the US market!:realmad:

Calm down.

We've (UK) been getting PES ahead of many other regions for literally years now. People rarely praised Konami for such a move, yet now the shoe is on the other foot, you decide to scream uproar?

What's two weeks really?

Call it irony, but it's about time our American cousins got cut a break in the PES world. How many times have they had to wait for a release, never mind the ball-ache of waiting for updates!

Chances are all most people will do is complain whatever time it's released. People are rarely satisfied with their lot.

Ho-hum.

It's really a shame for Konami as Europe is their money mainland in football gaming franchise.then We'll see another year gaming review sites from USA bashing PES even PES 5 got shit review by USA 'football' journalists.

I think, anyone who takes reviews 'too' seriously isn't in tune to what the final product may actually be like. We all know a lot of the major review sites are paid off to boost review ratings, so to take their word as gospel is quite risky. The only review site that I even enjoy going to anymore, is www.gametrailers.com. They offer usually a 10 minute video review on the game's presentation, gameplay, and graphics, before scoring the game out of 10. It's quite a reliable site for reviews - however you still don't let it completely sway your decision, as that would be stupid.

Extremely well put.

I remember the days when you UK peeps got the game in october, and we americans had to wait until march or april to get it.
The first game we got more or less at the same time as you guys was PES 2009. Updates for this game were released for you in November, then the american update was released in april...

Then you guys are angry for waiting 2 weeks?

It's annoying that by the time us Brits get to play it, we will have missed that "fresh" period, where all the online exploits hadn't been discovered yet.

MLO will be a mare as well. We'll miss out on the bargain prices of the better players.

Moan, moan, moan.

PES seems to make even the most rational loose their rationale.

I'm certainly not gonna argue that.

I can win 5-0 and still get pissed off to controller-smashing level!

Your both idiot's. Please keep this thread on topic.

You're ... not your ... the topic of this thread is bollocks, lets be honest, we're not seriously entertaining the thought of discussing drowning the staff of Konami over someone's childish rants over PES. These threads are ten a penny. If it wasn't for our liberal approach, this thread would (and should) have been closed after the OP.
