I do not think it would be too difficult to implement some code into pes detecting button lag, the "new" lag.
For example, it is perfectly possible for my PC to record to the millisecond precisely when i have pushed the kick button on my controller whilst a goal kick.
Also, it is perfectly possible for PES to record at exactly what time (to the millisecond) my keeper runs to kick the ball.
Yes, there will be some constant delay, which may be seen and expected even in offline games.
However, if it detects too large a difference (say 300ms in excess of the standard offline delay) between the time my PC reports to have detected the button being pushed on my controller, and the time PES reports to see my keeper run to kick the ball, it should abandon the game, or do something in the name of justice!
I hate these online cheaters with all my heart, because I play PES with a passion!
