Let Coach Take Charge of Next Game

So how many of you guys use this option? I'm flying throught the season since taking a policy that I'll only play the importnant league games and all cup games. It saves so much time since I can't sit around playing 100 games at around 15mins per game while living a normal life... and when your team's good enough you'll start winning your coach games without any trouble too!

Just make sure not to use it for cup games - Annoyingly I used it in the champ league quater finals - 1st leg away and lost 3 nil.... I made an amazing comeback at home scoring 3 goals (last two game after the 80th minute!) then scored another in extra time!!! 4-0!!!

...then CPU scripted on me and scored two more goals in the dying minutes of extra time... I thought I was going to have a heart attack. By far the most exciting game on PES for a while...

Sometimes, if I've already won the league and playing the remaining away games doesn't reward me with more money through any bonuses, I'll put my team in coach mode at the formation screen and have it on in the background while I do other things (occasionally checking on the match progress), if only to prove that my team are horribly inadequate without my input!

It depends on which coach you've hired to be honest. One with high tactical awareness is more likely to do better and win those games. I remember going through a whole season letting the coach do his thing and I won every trophy available. Bare in mind im in 2020 or something right now.

That's what I'm currently doing for my Master League. Letting the coach play matches while I act as manager and sign players

There are several perfectly good manager games on the market, and they're all much better than the stripped down version ML offers... I'm just saying...

Didn't realise that the coach hired plays a part in your automated games. I always thought they just affected training! Yeah it keeps ML going for years. Sometimes i just can't wait till the next transfer window and i want to plough through some matches. Don't think people do it for the manager sim aspect of it though

yeh I'm like you Firestorm, at the end of the season with the league in the bag, I'll let the coach run the last few games, although they don't use the subs you probably want so sometimes some of my players get a little upset because they're not getting played...awww poor little over paid girls, now I'm gonna have to buy them flowers to make it right, and stop their sobbing.

You're talking about Football Manager right? I've also taken a look at that, seems a lot more complex than Master League. I'll have to get use to that before actually attempting a "real" Manager story
