My Transfer Experiment:

Brief:
Take one of the lowest ranked players I could find, who is still developing, (preferably an attacking player) sign them up in January and offer them 25mill wages - making them the highest market value player in the game.

I picked this dude, DRIUSSI - a CF from River Plate who meets all my criteria. Great physical attributes but absolutely no pace or technical ability, reminded me of a young Argentinian Emile Heskey

The Challenge:
Getting him to be the highest market value player in the game was easy, the hard part was letting him rot on my bench and playing the waiting game until August, hoping someone puts in a offer so I can recoup my 25mill back plus interest!

Messi & Ronaldo ain't got sh!t on me...

The Results:
I was not disappointed! In true PES style a 2nd devision French team, with a Lacoste logo as there club badge came in with an audacious offer!!! They must have sold all the players, stadium, cleaning ladies etc to gather such a vast sum.

Conclusion:
If you need to generate cash and have an a good 20mill in the bank I would say go for it! Where will the madness end?? 35mill wages = 200mill offers??

It is ridiculous just how many glitches are in this years game, with the 8k player transfer trick and now this!

Even worse than a team as big as a toe having 130m€ to spend on a 50 rated player, is how the wages determine the market value. How on Earth is this logical??

Oh, and getting bids of 137m€ for a player with market value of just 90m€ who never plays is the unfairest thing I've ever seen in any PES game, when I spend 15m€ in a player, he ends up with a market value of 5m€ (because I don't pay him much), and I get bids of 2m€ for him

If you sign a player in January you have to pay half their wages. It would be better to sign them in January on genuine wages for 1 year and renew their contracts in July with the unrealistic amount. This way you never pay the fake wages and get the price you want. Now THAT is real glitch exploitation.
OR
Any player that enters the In Decline phase/you want to off-load gets a bumper-mega-megalomaniac contract and gets sold for BOOM BOOM cash.

If you sign a player in January you have to pay half their wages. It would be better to sign them in January on genuine wages for 1 year and renew their contracts in July with the unrealistic amount. This way you never pay the fake wages and get the price you want. Now THAT is real glitch exploitation.

Yea thats a good point mate, i'll have to look into that one. I'm going to do another 'transfer experiment' this season as i've got over 300mill in the bank. I was going to offer another crap player all of my money in wages and see what mad offers I get in August but I might do what you suggested. Ether way i'll post my findings in this thread asap.

It works the other way too. Its too easy to sign really good players for low transfer fees and low wages, if they are currently n a small contract.

Agree that its a pretty poor way of determining value.

Im in a funny mood about taking poor club and making it into a true force. Afcorse, I need money... And money with glitches/cheats since it has to be an instant buy good players/change entire squad thing. The question is how will this trick work if I have lets say only 3-4 millions as a starting budget. Is there any way? Or should I at least offer a 2 million salary and then expect someone to buy this low rated player for like 15m euros?

If you really want to push this, do the following:
On 1st January during your first season, contract renewals will come up. Any player from those up from renewal that you do not want to renew contract for, offer him insane money 15m or something and hopefully you will get an offer for him in August. It doesn't matter if you do not have the money, if you manage to sell that player during August. As always when using cheats or glitches like this, keep a save file from just before when you took the gamble. Oh, and enjoy that funny mood |D
