Teamates matter in a team, but Messi is still better than Ronaldo, because he actually takes on defenders and beats them unlike Ronaldo who is all flare. Not saying he's bad, he's just the 2nd best.
You can see that in the Barca against Man utd match, where Barca always tried to pass it to Messi whenever it got difficult. That shows that he drives it forward and goes the extra distance. So in the end, he's still an individual because no other Barca player can pull it off.
BTW, I won't mind who's on the cover, the cover art is more important to me but what's inside the box IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT

Well said he will always be second best... I dont know if anyone else feels the same way but sometimes i get feeling that Mourinho isnt completely sure if he fits RM.

I don`t know if i can agree with you or not SHAUN 7 about Messi and Ronaldo issue , because we see Messi playes very well with a huge talent top players in barca but the same player dosen`t shine all his stars in his country team which is Argentina , i like Messi , but do you think if he was in any other team that is a 4 stars team , would he play well as he does in barcelona ? i dought that .

You can clearly see that Messi's personality is more European than south american. Seems like he doesn't fit there.
And he probably won't play as well in another team simply because a team is made up of 11 players not just 1. So you need a team to do well, howver in ever team there has to be someone better than the rest.
The thing here, is if we replace messi with ronaldo, will barca feel it?
