It is happening again
I've played the demo, wasn't really worth the 2 gig (aaaages for me to downoad) size. Only offered a few mini games. I'm not saying it was a bad demo, just a bit pointless, since the real meat of the game is the levels that members of the public make.

Yeah, a little multiplayer beta would've been better and much a better representation of what the full game will be like.

It's a shame this got delayed.

Yeah, they obviously thought that releasing it around the same time as Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2 would be a good idea ;)

Never played the original LBP but already played the shit out of the demo. Got a high score of just under 400K in the Tower of Whoop and think I can reach 500K with a bit more time.

The fact that pre-made content like this represents only a tiny percent of what LBP2 offer is astounding. I cannot wait to get my hands on it and try out everything Media Molecule and the LBP fanbase has to offer, as well as trying to make my own levels/games.

Sackboy is suck an awesome character as well.

Nice videos man, yeah it looks really promising, actually looks better than the first one :D Nice to see the Sackboy has weapons in his arsenal this time around..

The gameplay in LBP is very simple and enjoyable. A bit of old school platforming mixed with some nice new ideas. But the big selling point is in the HUGE amount of creativity in the game. The first one was impressive enough, but LBP 2 seems to take it up another notch. You can already see this in the above vids... and that's just the beta! Have a look at these 2:

Turns out my high score on Tower of Whoop got noticed and I awoke to a nice message on twitter from the LBP team today giving me access to the LBP 2 beta as well as a nice beta exclusive costume.

Might download the beta, but with the game being out in 11 days, I may just wait it out.

Just bought this today, does anyone else have it?

I'm pretty sure John Cleese does one of the voices. Hearing him do those "murmer nurmer" sounds that the LBP characters make, is pretty funny :D
