this patch seems to be even worse for lag!! I have now played 4 matches where the lag has been unbearable, always when your the away team, are some players stupid enought to download at the same time as playing. cos this is what it seems like unless this new patch is shittier than the first!

..its unbelievable...problem is when the lag is so bad you cant even quit cos youll lose anyway! you cant win either way...this is becoming so frustrating!!!!

well on my first 3 games as client since the patch ive conceded 21 goals! lol. Its been completely unplayable, my players are slow and unresponsive and i may as well put the controller on the floor.

Strangely how things have got worse for some people.

im sorry chaps but it sounds like it comes down to 2 things. 1. why not host ur find it better and then the lags on the other person, and 2. ur obviously not very good keep practicing ;)

BTW, when the person leaves, I win by Default, although, it crashes and says that I have lost the MATCH! I should have lost only 3 games, but it says i have lost 7!!!!

jeez i can't get anyone to join my games, anyone who is on my buddy list will see that i am always available, i see other ppl on my buddy list who create there own games get someone to join like 5 mins after thwey create one, i have been waiting 45mins so far.

Yeah Giggsy i have tried a number of times to join your game, but it doesnt connect. What do you use to connect your xbox with. Is it a router? perhaps it isnt allowing any INCOMING connections.

Gooner - being host is diificult especially when most people wont join the game cos theyre scare to lose as the away team , I suppose thats what you do is it to get a bit of an advantage ey :)
Face it Pro evo is crap online ueanless you got a 2mb connection and you always host, real skill involved in that !!

I have a router yes, but i have had better luck recently in ppl joining, also i know hosting gives you an advantage but the ppl that host are playing the game the way it was meant to be played so if someone decides to join a game and risk the lag then thats there fault, i have join prob about 5 games and had mixed results the rest i have hosted, also i don't think ppl get much lag when they play me cos i have had re-match after re-match with me hosting which is stupid for the other person if its laggy and i keep winning - like before i won 5-1, 5-0 and 9-0 against the same guy with me hosting and so it can't have been that bad, Also when i played Zyg and he hosted it pretty much lag free - as good as hosting - well almost... :)

Mine was isp trouble, rebooted the modem and router and ever since ive had no troubles. Strange how the lag now effects the controls rather than the onscreen graphics. Still get patches when the camera moves and the balls of screen for a second or two.

You dirty get!! The oldest way to cheat!! If everyone did this there would be no games played online!!
How about playing home and away to give your opponent a chance???

The new patch does funny funny things to the game. It seems to be either slow and lag free or super fast and jerky as hell. NOT GOOD ENOUGH KONAMI!!!

Dang! I guess xbox users have all been suckered! Maybe that's why the Japanese equivalent is only came up with the online version after the xbox/pc version. They wanted to test out the market.. :p Anyways, no worries, I believe it will only get better.. Meanwhile, just bite your lips and go! :p Cheers!
