Loan Transfer BuyOut Option

Hey Guys,

Does anyone have experience with or happen to know how the buyout option works when doing a loan transfer? Are you able to decide to buy the player at anytime? And if so what is the cost of the player? Do they set it at market value or do you negotiate just like a normal transfer negotiations? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Okay so I got the bright idea to do an experiment shortly after posting this (not sure why I didn't think of that sooner). I started a new master league real quick and signed up 3 players to a loan transfer with the Option-to-buy set to On. Once they joined my team I could select them in the squad list and select sign. In each of the three players the transfer fee to buy them was roughly 30% higher than the Market Value for each player.

Having done this, I am thinking it isn't worth it to sign a player to a loan transfer with the intention to buy him later as you will surely be paying well over market value.

If anyone else has experience with this feature that could share there experience I would definitely be interested. At this point the only thing I could see making a loan buy worth it is:
1. If the Market Value for the player is quite low for the players talent, and the loan method is an easier way to get them signed.
2. Perhaps the buy out number drops later into your loan period? I doubt it because it seems to be contractual but I could be wrong.
