Hey lads,

So, me and the homie are planning to cop one of the new PES games - possibly the 2016 version - but we want to know whether it's worth it. We were both hardcore Pro Evo fans up until around the 2012 game and, instead of getting into FIFA like everyone else, we hung up our Playstation controllers - until now!

Now, we're finna get back into the gaming scene and perhaps some of you could tell me straight: are the newer PES games - specifically 2016 - as fun and entertaining as the pre-2012 era? We really want to recreate the many hours of enjoyment gained from playing the earlier editions of Pro Evolution on Playstation 3, and of course a lot on the Playstation 2.

better you can buy pes17 or pes18, pes16 you cant share or download option files, in pes17 or pes18 yes you can, and pes18 looks better

I am with [MENTION=227392]ggdaris[/MENTION] , I have PES 2017 and PES 2018 for Ps4 and they are very good games, I highly recommend them. PES 2018 is a little bit better than PES 2017 (in my opinion, of course), if you have a chance to get the 2018 game, do it. However, if you can't get PES 2018, get PES 2017, it shouldn't cost much these days and it is also very good.

PES 2016 I don't recommend getting on PS4 since you can't import option files from the community, you have to edit all by yourself, and there are more limits on the number of kits you can import, etc.

PES 2018 was heavily discounted in the PS store a week or so ago when i got it, maybe check in there if you're not keen on paying full price

PES18 is heavily discounted because it's a largely unplayable piece of shit

16 is ok but too easy. Get 15 or 17
