What the hell? Recently I keep getting this "Lost Connection to Server" and when I check ive default loss 0-3. Everytime this happens, I'm winning, its absolutely frustrating. I'm not sure if this is done on purpose by the opposing player, but its so damn frustrating.

Anyone know what causes this or have experienced this? I get so many unexplained disconnections its frustrating. My completion rate is like down to 80 % or so because of this happening constantly. arghhhh :ninja:

It's 90% because of your opponent, this happened to me countless of times. Be careful, because if that drops below 70%, (3 more unfinished matches in your next 10 matches), and you'll only get paired with players that disconnect A LOT. It's a real hell bro. I've been there, while trying to get up, such idiots will drag you down and you can only go up by losing matches. If you lose, they don't disconnect and your completion rate increases. If you WIN, they do disconnect - it costs them nothing, sometime it gives them the 3-0 win lol - your case for instance. Furthermore, your completion rate decreases even more and it's very unlikely that you get it back anytime soon. I went to match lobby and created a few 5mins quick frendlies, there were some nice guys that helped me out and played with me a few games to get my completion ratio up.

Sucks big time.

Wait, so it can be done by them too?
I always though connection to server lost was kind of caused only by the player who was disconnected, never thought other person can cause it.

Yep just happened again, just now. Ruined all my MLO D1 Cup. Gave the asshole the 3-0 win. What a prick, hasn't had one attack the whole game and it ran smoothly. Then bang, you're kicked out. Never happened with my friends, and we play daily in community.

And I have a 100Mbps connection speed with the whole world. Hell, I even played against a guy from Macau (near China) today, that's like 10,000 km away and it still went quite ok. Lagged a bit. Now this dude disconnects after a perfect smooth game, what an idiot. Gotta sell my PES on eBay i guess.

I'm not sure if its always the opposition though, sometimes they were like D5 with full of losses and 100% completion for last 10 games etc... I don't know if its the port configuration or something but well, Konami needs to make it like Fifa (without the lag though) where you get screwed for alt + tab or disconnect however method, where it takes the score at the time of the disconnection. Rip it off them Konamehhhhhhh! like they ripped you off since PES sixehhhhhhhhhhh!

1. That's not good either. What if you conceded a goal earlier in the game and the other guy disconnects? Not fair. Konami should think of a way to only penalize the player no longer active in the game, the player that pressed alt-tab, or simply the player on which part the connection sucked most. Or let us record the games through Fraps and show them we're not at fault, so they could give us the completion rate back! :-( and ban the idiot.

If its saying YOU lost 3-0 then that must be your connection surely? Why would it give your opponent a win if they left the game? This happened to me, I was playing my friend and it came up - match abandoned. I got a 3-0 loss, I checked with my friend and he got a 3-0 win, there is no way either of us turned our game off, we were playing for fun.

I have 7mbps Down, 0.4mbps up and 48ping so not the best but nothing too awful either. I use Wifi though and I think it just lost signal for a second, my iphone might have knocked the signal off maybe (which iphones do often)
I'm pretty sure alot of what you guys experiencing are your own connections fucking up. Why would people purposely lose money in OML? and why would it give them a 3-0 win for winning?

Some people know how to do that, definitely the case on 2011 and especially in competitions.

On the note of losing money... there are ways that you can disconnect without the opponent getting money (though it still uses up a contract).
And most of these idiots already have a super star team with shitloads of money. You think they give a shit about not gaining 3 million? Theyd rather quit and no one benefit than losing...

Ok seem to have found one way you lose the connection to the server (which happened out of game), if you suddenly use a lot of cpu resources etc, it causes it to lose connection (like when i opened firefox/google chrome etc, or another application; not necessary one that uses bandwidth). D'oh!

You should check your connection, because Ive lost connection once, and I was downloading a file so that was why and I lost 3-0 fair enough, but other 3 times I have won 3-0 because I was winning and it was obvious he quit. System hasnt failed me yet...

Yeah as i mentioned its happened sometimes when i did the things I posted. Where it causes a spike in CPU resources used or bandwidth. As my connection is rock solid and always constant.

Yeah I very rarely lose connection, and I beat quite a few teams 5/6/7 - 0 and still I don't really have this problem. Seems bizarre that some people have such problems.

Konami/pes server for pc, s..k balls big time. I get server connection lost very often. Even before I start playing (in game menu). So I decided to ping google.com i konami.com simultaneously, and then start the game to see what cmd prompt says when I get disc. And voila, soon as I started the game, CONN TO SERV LOST > ALT+TAB > ping is flying to both locations, not a single packet droped. SO F:::K YOU KONAMI, I WANT MY MONEY BACK, SHOVE IT UP YOUR A... I am on the fiber btw 100/100....
