Making BAL even better.

I was reading a thread about previous features that should be brought back and this idea came to mind.

Does everyone remember the Challenge Training that was in the old Pes games? (i.e. shooting at a bullseye, dribbling around cones as quick as you can, etc.)

Well i feel this should be integrated into BAL mode. For Example, inbetween games your player should have the facitility to train themselves with various different challenges and getting top scores in these challenges should allow you to improve your overall stats as a player. Its just a rough idea in my head but this is what i mean:

Challenge: Shooting Accuracy - Hit the Bullseye

Bronze - Hit bullseye from 18 yards. Reward: +1 point for shot stats.
Silver - Hit bullseye from 25yards. Reward: +2 points for shot stats.
Gold - Hit bullseye from 35yards. Reward: +3 points for shot stats.

You can still improve your stats by playing games but this should be an added bonus to help increaze ability. Obviously the more points you want the harder the challenges will be.

What do you guys think?

I've been wanting a training mode for BAL ever since it first came out.

Hell, not even one where you need to do objectives for some stat gains, I would just like to be able to freely run around a training pitch with my player and train feints, runs, shots, penalties and free-kicks etc etc.

Konami could take a look at 2K and their NBA 2K10 My Player mode.

Aside from matches, you can do certain training objectives for a little stat gain.

I just miss the training minigames! So much fun. But a great idea to incorporate it into BAL as well.

Yeah they were good times back in the day.....

I used to always use Beckham for the freekick accuracy training mode, and this was when he was in his prime. Its a shame that they put in features that make the game wonderful but them take it away the next year.

They've re-added the unusual customisations and the PES-Shop so maybe next year we could see something else return

Another idea would be, before kick off training in the stadium whilst half full. Literally, the warm up. You should be allowed to choose a certain set piece or move, and practice it, or a free roam option of just running around your half and shooting at the goalkeeper.

Be a lovely little touch to the game, and also get you in the match mood.

that sounds quite similar to FIFA where your in the stadium one-on-one with the keeper just before the match starts. and i admit thats one thing that i liked about FIFA, it made it a little bit fun.

Which PES was it that had Pier Luigi Collina (scariest looking Referee ever to officiate football) as the Cover Star? i think that was one of the last games to have challenge training.

that would be PES 3 which was Sick !!!

Tell me about it! corrr those were the days my friends. Looking back in them days PES ruled the last-gen. if only they could just take every single unique feature that made PES what it was and translate it into the current-gen.

Easier said than done i guess but look on the bright side. We've got a decent game to last us the next 12 months and lets just hope Konami & Seabass can pull something extraordinary out of the bag.

that is a really good, another idea could be like BAL could be more like football superstars, for example your player can go to night clubs, buy a house or car and get a girlfriend. also when you transfer to a club it would be well good if you could have a live conference/interview with your player and you actually see the interview. that would make BAL sick

hello there (i am on ps3)

i think its a brilliant idea, it let me remember back the pes old good days, i mean in those days pes game was always players first choice for soccer sim.Its just not the same anymore.

the thing is in pes 2012 if KONAMI dont make improvements on BAL abused overused through passes and loads of stupid transfers(like Messi going to R.madrid, and manager buying shit players, selling key players to other clubs), i dont think i will be in the good mood to do challenge trainning between matches, even i am a core pes game fan and always optimistic about the next pes release, i must say pes 2011 is a decent good game this year, but it has some obvious flaws and bugs like: abused, overused, way too many through passes in both BAL and MASTER LEAGUE mode, especially when you are 1:0 up, very likely your opposition will use some kind of unstoppable through passes to score a equalizer which cannot be prevented by any means, trust me,if the computer wants to score a crucial goal at a crucial time, it sure will, there is no way to stop it. For BAL The worrying times comes straitht at you when you are 1 goal up, and your opposition will start to script by using long ball or through passes to create an inevitable goal, it almost happens all the time after you are substituted off. thats some heavy shit you ll have to take, i hate it, hate it to the bone, that could be your worst moment for playing BAL, and that must be eliminated in the next pes 2012.

oh, the ridiculous transfers in BAL, it just messed up all the strong teams and weak teams, that turned 1st class teams into shit teams, and turned shit teams into 1st class teams, its not realististic at all, Messi going to R.madrid, i dont think so.

without stupid transfers and overused through passes, next pes 2012 will be a much better game for all pes fans, i cant wait to buy pes 2012, my expectation and anticipation is still high.

anyway i play pes BAL every day, its part of my life now, haha, just cant get my hands off pes BAL.

all the best for pes 2012 and pes fans
