portos goal was good. great free kick and a nice finish. it doesnt count as luck if your goalkeeper is too shit to deal with a shot propery

Who is in the next round? Porto. 2-1 in the 1st leg and 1-1 in the 2nd. Man U lost and Porto lost. Ok, the 2nd game was a draw but they got beat?
Man U never seemed to get going. They relied too much on RVN and Fergie shouldn't have brought on Ronaldo. Rather Solskjaer... old hand to steady the ship. Especially since they have conceded goals this season... and late ones at that. As Trevor would say, "I don't know if they're good enough to hold onto just one goal" (or something like that)

Just he said they 'should not have gone out' which no-one can argue with cos they 'should not' have had a goal ruled out for offside, and RVN's v southampton was onside according to the new rules And it does count as lucky, Porto where LUCKY that Howard spilled the shot, if he had not had spilled it they wouldn't have scored which = lucky. But i understand what Ash is Saying, Thats football - Man Utd have gone through every other season so its about time they got beat

How can it be lucky that he splilled the shot? If the porto keeper spilled one four minutes later would that be luck or a lack of skill? I wonder.
I mean, fair enough you should have won going on shots and possession and corners and throw-ins and what have you, but it is the way it goes, and Porto fought hard and if there was any luck involved they earned it.
