Look at De Bruyne. Clearly Rashford, Lingard, Fosu-Mensah, Januzaj, Varela, Andreas Pereira and Borthwick-Jackson will be Arsenal legends after brief spells in Germany.

I think Rashford will be the most used by Mourinho. Lingard might play as well. The rest, not so much.
No. No no no. No.

De Bruyne started the season. Played well in the first game and then his form dropped and dropped. He played against Swindon Town (a League 1 side) and was appalling.

He's born in 1991 the same year as Oscar and Hazard and those two were first choice players. So youth has absolutely nothing to do with the De Bruyne/Chelsea/Mourinho story.

Oh, I had no idea. I just went with the bandwagon then... My mistake.

Who would you consider a better example of the Mourinho Youth Treatment then?

I'm not too concerned about the youth. If he thinks they're good enough, I'm sure they'll get a fairly regular play time. Plus, I think that Van Gaal gets too much credit for playing the youth players. Most of the time, he's had to use them because of injuries to the first team players. Example, Borthwick-Jackson, McNair, Tyler Blackett. Once the first team players get fit, they get pushed back out. I felt that Borthwick-Jackson was in a better form than Rojo, but he didn't have a place in the match day squad yesterday. Fair play to him for keeping on playing Rashford though.

Loftus-Cheek should have been given a better chance this season than he received from Mourinho. But Hiddink didnt play him that much so maybe that says more about him. I think Traore could have been used more by both as well. Ake should have been used a lot more last season. Christensen as well.

I think his problem is he would rather play someone out of position than actually try someone from the youth system which can cause you to miss out on potential good players.

So looks like Mourinho going to Utd is pretty much confirmed. Do you Utd fans think this is a good move?

One of the positives from this season is that many youngsters have been given a chance by Van Gaal. Mourinho doesn't really have the best track record for giving youth players a chance, so what will this mean for the future of these players?
Rashford and Lingard will likely get a look in, couldn't honestly say about the others which is sad because I was really looking forward to seeing them over the next few seasons, especially Fosu-Mensah.

van Gaal seems to have a reputation of playing shit football and the next manager(s) reaping the rewards in the youth players he gave a chance to. Sadly, I can't see too many of them getting game time if Mourinho is appointed.

Would also have appointed Mourinho off the back of a good stint, not almost relegating the champions

So, who do you think is leaking all this stuff?

Also with Mourinho is very likely to become the next manager, I hope that it won't be forced upon him to keep Giggs as the assistant. I'd much rather have Giggs leave and start managing a club, instead of having another apprenticeship under Mourinho.
Ogden has always been pretty reliable when it comes to Utd, otherwise it's probably Memphis

Giggs will go, and he needs to. Go manage a team lower down the footballing pyramid.

Waiting....
I just don't think Giggs will be a good manager; or at least, not the great manager/saviour of Man Utd some people are expecting. When I look at his face, I just don't see it.

Look at the squad Guardiola inherited and look at what he could have inherited at any point in the last 3 years.

Let him start somewhere smaller and prove himself.

Would rather have someone with a bit of experience at this level.
That's a compliment.

Meanwhile, Renato Sanches says

Manchester United made an offer. I think it was well known. But I had other offers as well.

I chose Bayern Munich because it’s a great club. They have a 65,000 seater stadium and an atmosphere similar to Benfica. I’ll win titles.
Do you feel you're no longer attractive to young players? And if Ibra really does go to Manchester, will that change the outside perspective?

3 years max, joel as long as utd fans and the board turn out to be immature, this will only be a long and successful rein if and when he breaks the team around 3rd or 4th year, they let him have a squad overhaul and a season in transition.
