Hi guys, I playing ML on PES2012 and even I choose a Beginner Difficulty, the A1 is so hard to beat. So I want to ask what the difficulty U choose on your ML?

I got pissed off at one point with the difficulty that I chose beginner for a few games and even though I won, I still somehow managed to get 2 goals scored against me thanks to the defence that just stood there and watched. I choose top player with Jenkey's patch and I get the nice feeling I had when playing PES 2011 and 2010.

KONAMI! Really? I play pes since pes 6 and I ALWAYS played it on top player from the start and it took a while to get in with the flow but this is just VERY annoying. :S I mean... how did I get from a top player to beginner in 1 day? I agree that the game was really meant to get harder but this is just... I don't know what it is. Top Player and super star should be named: "AI warp speed overdrive skill lvl in ur face players!" and I mean it!

I play on superstar. Last time I played on Beginner, I won like 20-nil on 10 mins.
How can you play beginner- that's for people (according to KONAMI) 'is for people that haven't played football games before'
I'm glas they upped the level as it was too easy and I could win with my eyes closed

They AI cheats. It's corrupt on all settings.

Patch the game yourself with a mod gameplay tool and you'll be fine. It'll be a much more enjoyable experience than the way it is now.

It doesn't cheat on Superstar as that was made without influence to master league so it's defo more balanced unless KONAMI have heard that it's too easy and it doesn't cheat and made it scripted on patch 1.02...

It's kinda more difficult now
in 2011 i used Parma in profesional and i can win over all teams
Now using Lazio(w/Cisse and Klose) I lost to udinese in Normal
I think it's good though,more difficut more interesting

That's nonsense.
The amount of corners and free kicks they score from when they need a goal is annoying.

The same here. Playing ML on professional. I finished 6h last season (5th) in D1 right after promotion and was really excited about it. Now after half season I am at 9th place and losing tons of games. It feels like it will barely become any better since my team is almost 90 on all parameters. It is a chore to play. Hard to score and must be all very concentrated to avoid giving chances. In some games AI pressure is so sick I cant understand how anyone could win. I do not see myself winning D1 and playing in CL playoffs ever. I tried regular again but I win or simply crush some teams. wtf!!!

I don't get it.
People play like 5-6 games, they get owned by the AI and come to the net to complain. They're told to go pratice some more.
Then, they go try again for a few more games, they get owned once again and they return here and continue the crying.
Bearing in mind that there are many guys in here that have already dominated/trashed the AI in SUPERSTAR level, can't you guys realize that the problem is not the AI who cheats a lot or the defence in PES 2012 that is stupid.... the problem is YOU!
You suck at defending, so obviously you and other complaining guys should spent a lot more time training instead of complaining over nothing.

Just keep trying, try harder, persist... but please, stop bitching, I just can't stand it anymore.

The AI is scripted and you should notice this in the last few minutes when they are trailing and they come out of their shell and do a through ball which splits your defense.
I have no problem with this as I play keep ball in the last 20 mins but once I lost the ball and they did a deadly through ball which my keeper ran out and blocked and they got a corner which i headed away in to the centre circle and they did another through ball which split my defense again and my goalie came out and went past the player leaving him with an empty net. Pure wank

None of this is new PES has been scripted for years. It's unfortunate that this happens in the last few minutes of the match, and I know it's not just the odd goal they score which is scripted Ive been 2-0 up and drew 2-2 with my opponent scoring 2 goals in injury time.

But I shrug my shoulders and get on with the next game.

Corners, Freekicks, god like though balls in the dying seconds of games are annoying, but moaning about it wont's change it.

If you have the PC version you can try Jenkey's patch to change the scripting but it changes too much of the game for me, so I end up going back to my unmodded PES game and just live with it.

I've been 3-0 up with 15 mins to go and lost...ahh well..shit happens.

The A.I scoring nearly every corner and free kick is my fault?
To the above poster i'm using the patch and they still rape you on corners and freekicks.

I was answering to Apokalypse's whinings.
He basically said that:

1. The defence sucks - the only thing that sucks in PES 2012 defence are the keepers. I've had no complaints at all about my defenders (and I don't even play with a team if world class defenders - Newcastle).
Some guys just seem to expect the AI to defend for them (or they simply suck). AI only intervenes in positioning and sometimes it may disarm or intercept a ball that enters a specific range of action.
In any other situation, it's up for the human player to get things done... and if things fail, it's the human players fault. Period!

2. AI Scores too easily - this a consequence of things I pointed out above. Of course, the AI has it's fair share of scripting, AI players do become a bit more skilled and accurate when the AI needs goals.
But the human player can also get more aggressive and focused in the back and play more cinically and exploit the AI's increased attacking tempo to unsettle their startegies as well... or maybe I'm wrong?!
No, I AM NOT!!!
And it's not like if it's impossible to disarm AI players, to intercept thru balls, to clear crosses or to NOT suffer last minute goals when the AI is trailing. I won, keeping clean sheets in many ML games, and I'm not even the best player around here. I'm just dedicated and I try to learn and understand as much as possible, before bitchinh about anything.
And if you guys find it too damn hard or impossible, then you should consider praticing a bit more, or you can just stop playing PES because apparently you'll never be good enough at it and won't ever stop crying about it.

Basically, yes.

In my first ML, I only suffered what, 9-10 goals from CK's, in like 38 games.
Taking in account that the AI in the SUPERSTAR level gets something around 4 to 7 corners per game, I guess you suffer an average of 2 goals from CK's per game.
So from that, I can only deduce that you're included in the sucker's bag at defending in PES 2012.
