Master league how you have it

Hello all, how do you all set your master league? like example if your playing in english league and you don't have the championship in your option file? i find this a problem becasue then you would have to have a division 2 fixed with mixed clubs from around the world, then whey 2 or 3 or whatever it is gets promoted the english league would be un-realistic becaue you will have 2 or 3 clubs from other countries in the english league

how can we get around this? this goes for spanish league etc

Well, I always put Celtic and Rangers in the Division 2 to make it a bit more realistic, as they're at least British. Then I just pick the crappest other teams from other countries to make sure that not too many foreign sides get into the top division. It is a bit annoying...I suppose if you had lots of time on your hands you could edit the teams in Other Leagues C to make Championship teams, but it would take a lot of effort.

in the ps2 days i used the scottish option file and had a british league with 1st&2nd division teams being a mix of teams from both countries. last year ruined it on ps3 by not allowing you to use league c teams in the master league. hopefully that will be allowed this year

When starting a new game for say the english league, put your self in division 1 and make one of the other three leagues have a division 2. You don't get to play division 2, but atleast the teams in your league will be the real ones.

Ive never done an actual league befor. Just the ML. Can you do euro cups in it and trade players? God i cant wait to edit all the teams in my ML league. Never done it befor but will try to this time.

i create my own club have them in divsion 2 4 prem teams and Celtic and Rangers and 1 foreign side then 16 prem teams in the top division

Cups (like FA Cup) and league. No transfers. Basically, it sucks...

I've been editing the blank teams in the later PES versions so that I've had at least 4 English/Championship sides. In this way I could have a full English league. So, usually, my set has been:

1. English league w/ 16 Prem teams in the upper league & 4 Prem + 4 edited Championship teams in the lower.
2. 16 Italian teams
3. 16 Spanish teams
4. An Inter European league with the top German & French teams plus e.g. Ajax, PSV, Olympiakos, and so on.

(I've sometimes had an extra OF with extra French, Italian, or Spanish sides if I wanted to play in their leagues.)

In earlier PES editions I edited WE Utd and PES Utd into Championship sides and added Celtic and Rangers.

i make sure each league has a top 4 and then add in groups of 4 teams into each league lowering the quality as i go down the league. So a top 4, 4 teams going for the uefa cup, 4 lower end teams and 4 relegation teams. I do that for each league and its great.

I don't include English clubs... apart from the top 4 with kits edited and the two licensed clubs. I find teams without licensed kits unrealistic.I normally play with AC Milan with all other Itaian clubs, all Spanish clubs in same division, with the worst three teams droppin out to make space for Porto, Benfica & S.Lisbon put in as Portugal borders Spain. & so on. I find it makes the CL in ML alot more interesting that way & life like... Guess I am just a realism freak.

I made Division 1 the Premiership, and Division 2 Serie A
So it'll become a mix of Italian and English teams.

17 premier League teams with celtic rangers, and aberdeen

17 serie a teams with bayernmunich,werder bremen, and schalke

17 la liga teams with porto, benfica, and sporting

11 french teams with 9 dutch teams in d1......then 10 french teams and 10 dutch teams in d2

omg i just cant wait!!! i disliked every minute of 2008 so technically its been like 1-2 years since i was able to delve into the ML and god how i miss it. I really miss it. I just actually cant imagine how fuking good it will be to be laying on my bed with my 32" at the end of it on a cold winters night playing pes online and doing my ML. 4 weeks! i cant wait 4 minutes.

in no.5 i used 16 prem teams and put the other 4 in div 2. add to these an edited version of pes and we united and my new team, usually nottingham forest to keep it realistic. now to keep my league english i'd edit one of the foreigh teams into someone like stoke or another decent championship side.

as for the league 2, 3 and 4 i would put a top french side in each followed by a top italian then spanish then the other leagues. then go back through them so each league had all the best teams from each country. i would leave out the lesser foreign sides.

once i started my league i never looked at the leagues 2 to 4 so i wasn't bothered about having mixed foreign sides as long as my league was all domestic.

the only problem i had was once i qualified for european football my groups had unrealistic combinations like three french sides and one italian in a group.

i was gutted at not being able to use the editable sides in the ML this time round as it would have been top to have the complete second division. i actually edited them all too, before i realised i couldn't use them
