in ML everything is same only news is that you can change clubs end of the seasons and Manage National team. + whole year without injuries, there's no Stuff (Coach, Training manager, Scout etc )

When u are manager of National team u're selecting players just like in edit mode and announcing them for friendly matches.
there's no Qualifications, on World Cup & EURO teams selected based on National team rankings

without Qualifications it's unrealistic for me it would be great opportunity in PES2013 there was Qualifications, this thing need to implemented

Also what was concerning me was UEFA CL and World best player awards and as i see here's also based on overall there's no difference who wins CL, WC or EURO who is best scorer main is Overall ? :realmad:

Hmm too bad...I haven't yet received an offer to manage a national squad so it's a shame that there aren't qualifications.

It really sucks that Konami didn't change the transfer system...I'd really like some more interaction and actually placing bids, instead of what we have now.

And I don't think it is that hard to implement...

i will tell u funny thing

when we start ML there is 2013 year so qualifications for WC 2014 is over, but when for EURO 2016 there wasn't qualifications too that was sad, but for WC 2018 there is qualifications :D :D so maybe for EURO there isn't qualifications and because of that i was frustrated

there's qualifications for all Continents and everything scheduled PERFECTLY Good job Konami

A few impressions:
- This year's ML is total bare-bones, there's probably less to it than to the ML in PES3. That's good because you can play a season (with skipping games) in 15-20 minutes, but bad because there is less to do. AFAIR the ML from a couple of years ago was really good, it was like FM-lite. The only thing I hated were the silly little cutscenes with the players chatting with you in your office.
- Club finances have been stripped to total basics. As long as you do not overspend on transfers, you are fine.
- You gain money from ticket sales, from a bonus based on your club ranking, and from bonuses based on competitions won. You lose money to salaries and transfers.
- You can fire players whom you don't need but can't sell with impunity to save on salaries.
- The transfer system has also been simplified. Basically, your chances of signing depend largely on your club's status. So with a garbage club you can only sign garbage players, and with a big club I suspect you can sign just about anybody.
- Player morale has been simplified. I get the impression that you will never lose a first-team player - he'll keep signing with you over and over even if you are at the bottom of 2nd Division.
- Youth development is a bit weird... In 4-5 seasons I still haven't received a godly youth player. But I've had a few recycle-jobs with ~70 skill plus a few special abilities at age 16. Since one can't specify player development curves in the edit mode, and one can't hire coaches in ML mode, I'm not entirely sure how player development works. I guess the more you play them the better they become and that's about it.
- In my first season I played every game until about mid-spring. I didn't lose a single game (I did do a few loads though), and the game played the same no matter whom I was facing. Me vs Milan played the same as Me vs PES United. After a certain point I dominated every game, but the enemy defenders would enter god-mode whenever I neared their box, my guys would miss countless sitters, and the enemy goalie would save tons of 100% goals. Most of my goals fell into three categories: a breakthrough with my quick SS buy Gelpi followed by a finish from 5-6 meters out; a through ball followed by a finish from 4-5 meters out; or a tap-in following rebounds from shots.
- I played like that for a while, but got bored, and started skipping games. I was knocked out of the cup but had a great enough advantage to win 2nd Division. Then I went to 1st Division and was relegated after winning only one game.
- You can never get fired. The option to manage other teams or national teams I find silly and unnecessary, but I guess its being there doesn't hurt.
- If you like to just buy players and watch them develop, which is what I like, here's a tip: whenever the "news" window pops up at the beginning of the week, click on the week's game and select your team. Otherwise the same guys would play all the time. I thought that choosing "select players without preference" in the "my team" menu would ensure automatic selection for all games - but no.
- The best selection choice - in terms of results from "skip game" - seems to be "by form."
- The ML is still pretty addicting... Since going from Nobody to CL Winner in 3 years seems easy if you do play the games, try to win the CL without ever manually playing a game, haha... Play PES-ML like FM. At least that's what I'll do. Though once I qualify for the CL, I might play from the quarter-finals on. Gotta try my team once in a while, after all.

I play pro evo for 1 thing and 1 thing only and that is master league, i dont play online and i hardly play another mode.

This years master league makes me physically sick. I can't believe the only reason i buy pro evo is destroyed. How could they do that to master league? after all the years of changes and us guys getting used to them why why why?

Im crying as write this. I feel like i have been violated, repeatedly by the huge throbbing rod that is konami!

Anyways, games shit why change the free kicks/corners ect, crap modes, worst GUI and menus ever... why change the stats?

I think konami will stop making pro evo, they are just trying to ween us off it, i cant find any other explanation for this horrific game.

Why would they piss off every pro evo fan who has stayed with them for all this time? 17 years ive been playing since ISS,98,pro1/2,pro1/2/3/4/5/6/2008/9/10/11/12/13 and now 14.

I would never buy fifa, but im going to be reluctant to buy 15 if it even gets made which i dont think it will, konami will take a huge hit on this and will not make 15 as they fear the same.

They have only themselves to blame.

I have one question. The player development, why it can't be change in the EDIT section? In the ML, Balotelli and Wilshere, guys of 22-23 year's, are IN DECLINE? I can't understand it.

Yeah, I hate that too.

There are a couple of other significant problems with player development:
- Recycle-jobs are reborn at the age of 16 with their original names, and insane skill levels. People like Ibra, De Rossi, Xavi, and Pirlo are reborn red or almost-red (i.e. rating level ~95). WTH? Surely promising players should start with a skill level around (say) ~80, and should then gradually rise to god-mode.
- And also, recycle-jobs often spawn as free-agents - allowing you to buy them while you are still in second league.

The ML doesn't have to be quite as insanely realistic as FM - but a bit of realism in such crucial aspects of the game wouldn't hurt.

It's possibly the worst its ever been. There are far fewer features than in PES 13. They've completely taken out staff which was the only thing that you could actually upgrade previously.

As mentioned by others, player potential seems to be randomly assigned regardless of age. There are quite a few players aged 22 and under that are in decline and there doesn't seem to be any way to track players development. Completely baffling.

I enjoy playing ML, but I don't understand why they keep removing parts of it for no reason?, like the overall goal table- a table of the top scorers in ML, any league, any competition. To see how many goals your players have scored throughout their careers.

Do you play with the National team and the club at the same time as in FIFA, or you change from club to national team, like in real life?

Only played a couple of game. Just thought I'd come on here and see what the overall consensus was. Doesn't sound very promising. I'm fine with a stripped down edition removing cut scenes etc. The most worrying thing sounds like the player development and re-spawning of retired players as youths with the same abilities.

The player development sounds like it'll ruin Master League and the fun of actually building and developing a team. The re-spawning is just annoying. Why can't they at the bare minimum have retired players come back as new player with new names? Even if they look the same, randomly pick a first name and surname from players in that nation. At least then it adds some variety.

Is there anyway to stop retired players coming back into the game? It's something that bugs me and I wish it could be removed? Seeing a 17 year old Pirlo playing just takes any realism away from the game.

Boys n Girls, just started ML for the first time.

Very simple question, can we no longer edit manager name & appearance just like PES 13?

Loving ML I'm southampton brought cleverley,Ashley young and callejon pleased with them :D playing on superstar makes it more realistic for me also Switzerland manager. Previously aston villa manager got them into Europa league trying to get Manchester United job but doubt I'd get that more years :(
