Master League Players Thread

I've picked up C. Vela and Nasri for about 20 mill euro each midway through the first season and I'm really excited about getting them in January. I play as Real Madrid. Hopefully they will fit right in with my 3 AMF and 2 SS.

Im Real Madrid and signing Vela aswell Im only getting him on loan though. I really want Lavezzi and Zarate and tbh they should be snapping up the oppertunity to sign for me but it always brakes down.

Im really not liking this scouting system, i just wanna see their damn stats so i can make my mind up. How do you trade players?

Like the above post Michel Bastos is truely imense! I have also found Zoran Tosic at Man United is great, that is if you can attract him away from OT. Nugent at Pompy(Age 24) is very slow, but is a born goal scorer and is another cheap recommendation. One thing i am dissapointed about is that there is no Fabian Delph on the game, because i am sure he would be a wicked talent to have.

Could anyone tell me whether different teams start with different budgets in ML or is it all the same ? And also, in the first season, do the top four all start in the CL or do you have to qualify first ?

I only ask because i started with Wigan, with a threadbare squad and a pittance of a budget once all wages were taken out, i could just about afford a few players for £1m each. I was just wondering if moneybags Man City or Madrid have to scrimp and save in master league ?

Madrid have a 200+ budget. With all coaches set to top level and the fan club etc you get a starting budget of 108 mil i think to spend on players.

I always play 4 - 5 - 1 with the defaults. Gutierrez up front on his own, as he is quality.

You just have to play a passing game and hope you get an opportunity with Gutierrez. Corners are good chances as well, with Libermann in there.

How come the AI in PES 2010 has now become very similar to that of FIFA?

I have started a Master League Campaign with Celtic and mixed my Divsion 2 League up with the best teams in The Other Teams section ie. Boca Juniors, River Plate, Benfica, Porto, Galatasarray etc

Because the online play was so brutal with PES 2008 I bought Fifa 09 but quickly became bored with the Manager Mode.

Why is this? Because although defence wise on the top levels (Top Player in PES and World Class in Fifa) the AI are very good they are not as direct as they should be in an attacking sense.

PES has become Fifa! In PES 2009 if you went 1 up the AI really stepped it up and launched attacks against you to get the equaliser but now they seem content to just play the ball around at the back and in midfield, exactly like feckin fifa! What the hell are Konami thinking of? I cant believe it!

Possibly when I get up into the English Premier League the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea etc might be more direct and more pressing but at the moment the game sucks because of this.

Also, what is the story with the referees? Is Stevie Wonder refereeing most games coz he seems to miss alot of fouls.

Konami what are you playing at? Can a patch fix this because I have only played around 6 games in Master League and it is already becoming a tad boring just like Fifa's Manager Mode.

Marko Marin is a very cheap player, young and develops very fast. I'm in my 5th Season and he has a Overall-Rating of 90!

how is everyone getting playes so easily.

only grumble about pes10 is the scout/negotiating system. i really dislike it.

i started with man u and have just started my second season. brought one defender(cant spell the name) before the first season, purchased giovinco and also valbuena. both are fantastic players and good at scoring goals. i then at the end of my first season got trejo.
only problem i am having is getting defenders and goalkeepers. its a real pain in the ass to try get them, specially now seeing as van der sar has retired.

has anyone also noticed how difficult it is to now sign created players? i created eusebio cos i had in in the 08 game and he was one of my fave players and am failing to sign him

other players i am looking at signing are benzema, adriano, sergio ramos and heitinga

ive stared off with the default plalyers as sivasspor and i would highly recommend scouting the made up teams players there are some quality ones other playes ive signed on the cheap are called holdimejo and bouwman and the other leagues A teams that arnt licenced particually petorbenov from fc kholugavinsk he's easilly good enough for any team a real bargain oh and a dutch striker called overnoor a german defender called rothzeitz a turkish midfielder called tecikegil. hope this helps you out

A lot of Arsenals. Such as Ramsey, Wilshere. Also some players such as Baxter, Jovetic, Santon, Camacho,, etc.

I also wonder. I have tried for like two seasons to sign few key players for my team, such as Silva, Cattermole, with no success...Don't know if I will ever be able to sign them.

This is seriously getting annoying...Ramsey, Cattermole. Jesus Navas, Van Der Vart, Gourcouf, Silva, Villa, Tevez, Aguero, Ben Sahar, Jovetic, I COULDNT SIGN ANYONE OF THEM! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????

^ Don't think anything is wrong with you But you have to think of the team you're playing as. Are you in second or first div? A lot of the players you mention are very good players and therefore their respective teams would like to keep them.. I try with young players, unknown players and loan transfers. There's a lot of great players out there. Try searching the transfer and loan list - your upcoming star could be there..

Rasmus Elm (Sweden) Awesome winger. Plays amf as well. He's 19-20 in the beginning of the game, so don't know his age in your league since i don't know how many seasons you've played.

I actually think its a lot more realistic. Im using Wigan and the only house hold names ive been able to sign are Juan Mata and Momo Sissoko. The rest have been cheap players my scout found. Ive just broke into the top four in my fourth season and ive now signed Saivet, Ashley Young, Arnautovic and Carrizo.
