And you can ask others about who they have signed on certain positions.

So we need to know:

Desired position
Age
Prefered foot
(Nationality, height)
Budget - currency is important as there are quite a few different
Maybe your scout level

I'll go first - I need a young defender minimum 185 cm tall
Age: 17-23
Foot: not important
Nationality: not important
He can cost around 2-3 million euro
Scout level 3 in division 2 playing as fc copenhagen

I've been away from PES for a while so I'm not sure if he's still as good as he used to be, but Palmieri seems to be working for me so far. You can get him from the youth team.
Another good defender for a starter team, specially if you play with the ML crap team:
Mangala
Age: 20-21
Nation: France
Overall Rating: 84
Now I know he's not that impressive but the good thing about him is he can play in any defending position except SW: CMF, DMF, CB, RB and LB.

Now my request:
Young forward:
Age: 16-24. Can be older if he peaks later on.
Foot: Preferred R, but not important.
Nationality: Not important
Budget: 5-6m dollars transfer, but affordable salary.
Scout Lv3, currenty playing division 1 in BBVA (second season overall).

Paralaje - try to check out Zohore, Bendtner and Jørgensen all from Denmark.

I will mostly recommend scandinavian players, as i'm building up a team consisting of only these :) I shall try to mention some others as well.

Zohore is only 17 years, so he has definetely some potential. Other nationalities, check A. Little from Rangers (Northern Ireland) or Paloschi from Milan (Italy)

Thanks for the suggestions. A couple of them I tried (had Schwarz since day 1 but he's pretty bad in this game) and I'm now trying to get Lukaku or Riviere since both of them seem pretty good.

also, you know pes 2011 when in your youth team it showed a players dossier and it said for instance this player reminds me of benzema, does this still happen

the ability of your youth team players is a little random this year, I've stared a new ML a few times and sometimes Palmieri is 66 OV and sometimes he's 64 or 68.

Do they still put the retired players/players without a club into the youth team? I hated that in 2011.

Did anyone figure out how growth is in ML yet?
So far I only tried the condition training since your players don't lose any other points like they do in other trainings which imo is ridicilous, top players have intense and varied trainings and don't lose some attributes as a result of it, dunno what KONAMI was thinking with that.
So with my condition training none of my players really gained anything in their overall status in about 2/3 of the season, but some old players lost 1 or 2 overall points.

I got him from the "OTHER" section, but then I reloaded an older save and he plays for WE UNITED. In 2012 he's 36 so I'm guessing he retired and he has awesome stats as a youngster and then degrades, but I haven't played a lot in the past few days so I don't know how his stats progress.

They have a good system in Fifa, where (I think) you are able to scout young players from around the world, like proper youth players, not regenerated behemouths with 95 overall. I mean, how hard is it to programme a number of random names? Football Manager has done it for over a decade!

i feel konami does not give ml its deserved attention as it is what pes are famous for in terms of game modes - ml is relatively unchanged from pes 2011 apart from better presentations and cutscenes

agreed... football manager regen system is awesome, and im sure its not that hard to make...
